When you return to home base each evening, the private balcony will be just the place to kick back with a glass of wine as the sun goes down. Plus, the full kitchen can be the hub for reminiscing at the breakfast bar as the chef of the group prepares something tasty for the whole gang. When it is really time to settle in, everyone will love splitting a bag of popcorn and cozying up on the white sectional for a movie night!

It was a great place for a quick stay. We were there less than 24 hours but it was a very cute area. Wish we had more time so we could have used the pool. Loved having access to the beach, my daughter and I got up early and watched the sunrise. Had the entire beach to ourselves. Only issue we had was the remotes in the bedroom didn’t have any batteries.

perfect beach condo!

Loved the location of this condo on Dauphin Island - close to the beach, gorgeous views from the balcony, within walking distance of a few restaurants and shops. Had a lovely time & can't wait to go back!

Wonderful little condo right on the beach with great views. The bunk beds were absolutely perfect for our kids. The TVs did not really work (the power buttons didn’t work and neither did the volume), which wasn’t too big of a deal except we have toddlers who needed their fix of tv in the morning before enjoying the beach and pool. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Dauphin Island.

Clean place

The unit is on the second floor, there is an elevator you can use. The beds are comfortable. There were plenty of towels and hair dryers. The patio furniture was broken, cheap, and uncomfortable. There was a coffee maker, but no coffee. While they had some pots and pans, they do no provide any salt/pepper/spices, oil, etc. They gave you one dishwasher detergent pod, one laundry soap pod (so you can start a load of linens when you check out). The place is not well stocked with basic things for cooking or cleaning. So that added to the cost for those of us staying there.The place is large, it was clean, the beds were comfortable. It's about 0.4 of a mile walk to the beach. Not a difficult walk. The condo sits far enough back from the ocean that you don't really hear the waves from the patio. It's not a bad place, but I personally wouldn't stay here again because I couldn't enjoy the patio and I was disappointed with the additional costs of having to purchase basic necessities that are typically provided at other places.

Clean place

The unit is on the second floor, which I knew about before hand. My mom's physical mobility is limited. There is an elevator she could use. It was about 0.4 of a mile walk to the beach. It's not a difficult walk, but for my mom it was long and tiring. We were able to rent chairs and an umbrella that were set out for us each morning from a separate company that Vacasa told us about. The unit was clean and spacious. They did provide body wash and shampoo. There is a combo coffee maker, but no coffee provided. It could use coffee pods or filter and beans. No spices or oil provided for cooking, so if you plan to do any cooking, you have to bring or buy everything. There were some pots and pans. They did provide enough dishwasher detergent for one or two loads, very little dish soap, and one laundry detergent (so you can start a load of linens when you check out). The patio furniture was broken and very uncomfortable/cheap. The condo is set back far enough from the ocean that you don't really hear the waves, but still a nice view of the ocean. We could not see the sunset or sunrise from the patio. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. There are several hairdryers. There is a working ice maker, which was a nice bonus. Overall, it was comfortable and clean, but I was disappointed by the patio and basic things they did not provide (salt/pepper, oil, coffee, etc). I've stayed at several similar places and usually those basic supplies are provided. It makes it very difficult for those traveling from far away to feel at home and increases the costs of traveling since you have to buy or bring everything. For that reason, I probably would not stay here again.

Beach Getaway

It was the perfect condo for a weekend getaway for my son’s 16th birthday. We loved the view from the balcony and the condo was cozy and comfortable. Definitely will book there again!

Loved our stay!

Everything was perfect except the cushions on the patio furniture. They were too small for the furniture and SUPER THIN so it was impossible to sit on it to enjoy the balcony. Otherwise, it was just what we were looking for.

Quiet relaxing and secure

The code didn’t work to get in but customer service was helpful in rectifying the problem. We liked the quietness, secure gated community, and the beautiful views. We also liked that there were ample towels and washcloths which we have often not found to be the case in other rentals

Don't stay here if you want to use the pools!

Both pools were hot as hot tubs so no one used them, and that was huge reason we picked this place. We actually paid $50 one day for all of us to go to another pool on the island that was cooler. I contacted management and never heard anything back about the pools. The Keurig didn't work and finally got a replacement, the day before we left...... Both hairdryers were non-working so went to dinner with wet hair and never heard back about that either. Cushions on patio furniture are paper thin so couldn't sit out there unless you felt the bottom metal frame you're sitting on the whole time. The condo itself was very clean and spacious for all of us. Would take very little to fix the little things and just have someone communicate back with you in a reasonable amount of time. I just kept getting 'we're checking with the local team'. Beaches were beautiful and condo in great spot right across from some shops/restaurants.

Dauphin Island Beach Club 201A is a solid place to be. It is conveniently located to the beach plus a few walkable charming beach spots. As for the amenities, it has the basic essentials for a comfortable stay that includes cooking and hanging out.

Beach condo

Very convenient access to the beach which was not crowded, pools were clean. Condo was perfect for group of six. Beds were all comfortable. Would stay here again.
