## Emplacement
The resort of La Baule owes its fame to its beach, one of the longest in Europe. The undisputed star of the resort, La Baule's long beach stretches 9 km in an arc of fine sand facing the ocean. During the summer vacations, it's a meeting place for children in beach clubs, inviting them to swim in the calm sea. At low tide, it gives way to vast play areas. You can also stroll along it with your feet in the water or from the embankment, as you prefer, strolling, jogging or cycling with your hair blowing in the wind. The horizon comes alive with colorful sails; the bay is ideal for learning the joys of dinghy sailing, as the Peyron or Pajot brothers did! Kitesurfing, surfing and stand-up paddling add to the gliding sensations. Beyond the waterfront, the scenery changes.
