This is a clean and beautiful cabin. Plenty of room. The creek that runs behind it is beautiful. Would definitely go back.

The space was wonderful and the two kitchens plus separate bedroom and bath setup worked perfectly for our needs. The back deck with the hot tub and porch swing overlook the river. The sounds and view were beautiful. It was a quiet area and close to places for necessities. Also very close to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg or Douglas Lake. Just a few small notes that could make it even better: a little refresh on the bedding and mattresses. I recommend bringing some blankets and pillows. A quick extra check on cleanliness, and possibly smoothing out access and paperwork before arrival. (we booked last minute and had to sign the paperwork in person in Pigeon Forge before check in) We appreciated the stay and will be back.

When we first arrived at night everything seemed fine. We went to walk out the back door to inspect things and walked right into a huge spider web across the whole door! Back porch needs cleaned between customers! Next morning we noticed there was cobwebs everywhere inside. Main surface clean. Blinds behind beds where beyond filthy. Bedding had holes in it. Hot tub doesn't work properly so couldn't use it. The view and the river was the best thing about the cabin. Was disappointed for the cost.

I loved the rippling waters rental, everything was as advertised. The host was easy to contact they check with me concerning any issues I had no problems and would gladly stay with Aunt Bugs rentals should I go back to that area

Weekend getaway

Overall the cabin was a perfect size and great for our weekend visiting family close by. The beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was great. Loved the walk-in shower. The only thing that I would say needed to be fixed are the blinds to the back door, but other than that the cabin was great. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect little get away!

I cannot stress enough how amazing it is to be on this creek. We had so much fun. Property is set way back from the road, great cabin for two separate areas or one bigger place. Affordable and super sweet property management. Some of the reviews said there minimal toiletries, but there were plenty. Hot tub worked like a charm (unlike some of our previous) and is situated where you’re pretty much over the creek. It’s awesome. We enjoyed this spontaneous stay and will return. The only true positives were the sights and sounds of the creek and the deck to sit and enjoy the view. I wish I would have read the reviews better. There is one from several YEARS ago in which the visitors complained about the same things and obviously none of it was fixed. (Broken blinds, old/dirty bedspreads, ripped furniture, a chair that looked like a dog gnawed on it, etc) We had to text immediately because it truly seemed as though the bedspreads had never been washed. The host was responsive and sent housekeeping to provide different ones. However we also asked for more towels and that request was ignored. The kitchen chairs had what appeared to be paintball splatter on them or melted wax or something. This same orange goo was on the knives in the kitchen. The bed sheets reeked of bleach. There was not enough flatware or dishes. Under the kitchen sink there was rat food and about 20 containers of bug bombs. Not a very comforting site. We didn’t even open the hot tub out of fear of what we might find. The nextdoor neighbors sat outside every time we did and smoked cigarettes that blew in our direction. Again, the location (not in a tourist area yet not too far from the national park) and creek were the only positives. The cabin was kind of updated (nice master shower) but it just had that “gross factor” whenever you sat anywhere or touched anything. We would not stay here again. There is definitely some irony with the company name….

Great Location, but needs upgrades

The location of the cabin on the river was perfect! We enjoyed spending time on the deck listening to the "rippling waters". The property does need some upgrades. There's only 5 plates in the pantry for use. We ate all meals at the cabin and with only 5 plates available there was a lot of dish washing especially since no dishwasher tablets were left for us to use. The air conditioning unit on one end froze up during the afternoon and night which meant there was no air. The management company had to bring us light bulbs and a new toaster. The blender was busted and cracked. The old smoke detectors were open and hanging from the ceiling. Not sure if the positives outweigh the negatives for us to stay at the cabin again.
