Residence: The word 'bucolic' could have been invented for these leafy pitches in a peaceful lakeside setting. The place positively oozes relaxation - and it's just 20 minutes from Nantes and a quick drive from the Loire river. There are mobile homes, canvas bungalows and empty pitches here in this leafy-green setting close to a delightful village, at a campsite that's got a great reputation for its peaceful atmosphere. There's also a snack bar and a covered, heated pool for great fun times together. There's plenty of pike and carp in the lake for fishermen, and cyclists can use the Greenway (Voie Verte) to join the Loire by Bike cycle route. Walkers can stroll alongside the river or wander among the vineyards. For a change of pace, Nantes and its heritage is just 20 minutes away for some fascinating trips, and further afield are the beaches of the Atlantic. The Loire-Atlantique boasts a wonderful coast, alternating between sandy beaches, wild creeks, rocky coasts and renowned seaside resorts. It also offers visitors a diverse range of other places of interest including Nantes, a City of Art and History combining heritage and dynamism, the famous Guérande salt marshes – a paradise for birds – the canals and delightful thatched cottages of Brière, incredibly picturesque fishing ports and the Nantes vineyards. Accommodation: Our Slow Lodge is part of our campsite's unusual range. With its wooden structure and canvas walls, it strikes the perfect balance between robustness and originality. Equipped with a kitchen, a beautiful living room, 2 bedrooms and a terrace ideal for enjoying your stay, it is also very comfortable for up to 5 people. There are no sanitary facilities in this accommodation, but you will have access to the campsite's sanitary block.
