Beautiful house with beautiful views

The house was very nice and has a wonderful view of the sea. You could even see the sunset very beautifully. Marjory, the manager was very nice and helpful. The nearby dream beach Plage de Ghjunchitu can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes. We can recommend the house.

All in all a nice house with a beautiful view on the sea!Well equipped with all that is needed.Uncomplicated check-in and check-out - merci beacoup, Marjory!But there are also some things to be mentioned:Air conditioning - alhough the german description of the house is mentioning A/C as an equipment (we expected to have an A/C in each room) there is only one device in the dining room and in one (out of 3) sleeping rooms. As a result, it was not possible to cool down the complete house. Especially the two sleeping rooms in the back of the house (there are some stair steps going up to these rooms) have become very warm - sleeping inside these rooms was therefore really no fun at all!Noise - the house is directly located on the T30 - being the main road from Bastia towards Calvi - hence having really a lot of traffic - until late in the evening and starting again in the early morning. If somebody wants to relax during the day in the garden - I cannot recommend this house!Opening windows at night - what one should do at least in the rooms without A/C - is no good idea - also because of the train that is running next to the coast line below the house.Bad smell from time to time - opening the window in the sleeping room next to the terrasse often was no good idea. From time to time - maybe depending on the temperature - there was a very bad smell coming from the sewerage - at day and at night!

Thank you Volker for your feedback. Regarding the air conditioning, we had discussed it before your arrival. On the French version of Abritel, we have clearly stated that only one room out of the 3 is air-conditioned. You unfortunately stayed just during the heatwave period that lasted 10 days this month of August. Normally, night temperatures are much cooler and allow you to sleep properly while leaving the window door open. Regarding the train, I must specify that the little train that makes the round trip between L'Ile Rousse and Calvi does not run at night, and only starts at 7am in the morning to stop around 8pm, and it passes at least 500-600 m below the house. For the smells, it indeed seems that the manhole added this winter is not perfectly waterproof. It will be repaired this autumn. Finally, the house is below the T30, which limits noise but does not completely eliminate it. As Sofie says, one still gets used to the noise during the stay. We are thinking about making arrangements on the roadside, like noise baffles. But it will still take a little time. Looking forward to seeing you again.

maison agréable , avec beaucoup de charme ,moderne, bien aménagée, cuisine bien équipée,bien située par rapport aux plages ,très belle vue sur la mer .petit bémol : le bruit de la route assez fréquentée .climatisation efficaceexcellent accueil de l'hotesse , souplesse des horaires ( nous avons pu intégrer la maison avant l'heure prévue )

Prachtig uitzicht op zee

Een heel fijn, ruim vakantiehuis. Praktische, nette keuken. Airco aanwezig. Genoten van het fantastische en vrije uitzicht op zee, zowel vanaf het terras als vanuit de eetkamer.Enige minpuntje: het huis ligt dicht aan de doorgaande weg T30, dus als je buiten zit, hoor je de weg. Het uitzicht op zee maakte dit voor ons ruimschoots goed en gaandeweg de week wen je aan het geluid en verwijnt het naar de achtergrond.

Grande casa con vista mare

La casa è grande e pulita, situata vicino alla strada ma molto silenziosa. La posizione è ideale per raggiungere molte spiagge nei dintorni. La cucina è molto ben fornita. La comunicazione con il proprietario/gestore è stata perfetta. Ho segnalato qualche piccolo inconveniente e sono sicura che verrà prontamente risolto.
