Welcome to Vanilla Bean, a warm modern farmhouse cabin tucked into the woods in Skyhorse Crossing and backing up to the Ouachita National Forest. The cabin sleeps up to 8 guests with 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a sleeper sofa, making it a great fit for families, couples, friends, and guests bringing dogs.

You’ll feel peaceful and private, yet you’re just minutes from Hochatown restaurants, Beavers Bend State Park, trout streams, hiking trails, breweries, wineries, and Broken Bow Lake.

Designed for easy getaways, Vanilla Bean offers a comfortable open floor plan, fully equipped kitchen, cozy indoor spaces, and plenty of ways to relax together. Soak in the private hot tub, gather around the outdoor fireplace or fire pit, grill dinner on the BBQ, challenge your group to ping pong, cornhole, ladder ball, or horseshoes, or simply unwind on the covered back patio surrounded by trees. Inside, you'll find Smart TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a dedicated workspace if you need to catch up on a little work before getting back to vacation.

You'll also have easy 24/7 self check-in with smart locks, a spacious pull-through driveway, and room for extra vehicles, a boat, or trailer.

Vanilla Bean is privately hosted and thoughtfully cared for by us—not a generic management company—with an amazing local team nearby to help if anything comes up. Our goal is simple: make your stay smooth, comfortable, memorable, and easy to recommend.

Dog-friendly for up to 2 dogs; pet fee is $30 plus tax per dog, per night.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Take out the trash
Lock the doors
- Please bring the trash to the trash can by the driveway - Please lock the doors (and any opened windows) on your way out
Start the dishwasher if needed
Start a load of towels in the washer - if any linens are stained, please leave them out for housekeeping
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Guest must sign Renter Agreement after booking. $1,000 refundable security deposit hold required. Minimum rental age is 25.
Agreement must be signed within 24 hours. For last-minute bookings, it must be signed before check-in info is sent.
No smoking/vaping. No parties/events or unauthorized guests. Dogs must be listed and paid for. Quiet hours: 10 PM–7 AM.

The cabin was perfect and exactly as expected, maybe even better! Clean, everything you could need was available, instructions for everything, and loved all the labels everywhere! There was nothing unexpected or confusing. Great communication with the owners as well, they promptly answered any and all questions we had! It also wasn't far at all from anything in Hochatown. Thank you for a wonderful stay for our baseball tournament! If and when we come back, we'll be checking the availability of this cabin for sure!

Our family enjoyed our time at the Vanilla Bean cabin. Great location, very clean and decorated perfectly! We had 4 people and could have comfortably brought a few more along. We didn’t bring our dogs, but happy that was an option. They would’ve had a blast! The stairs on the bunk beds were a little difficult to navigate, but the kids did just fine. A great choice for a Hochatown/Broken Bow getaway.

A lot of places say “pet friendly” only to find out you can only bring a single 10 lb dog lol. We needed a bit more than that! This place was perfect. We brought out two dogs who felt right at home here. They have a fenced in back porch where our nature loving pup could watch the squirrels and deer as much as she liked :) Our two kids also had a blast with the hot tub and bunk room. Plenty of space where the four of us could all have quiet time between our outside adventures. Wonderful!
