We enjoyed our stay at Poplar Cove! The cottage is very cozy and has most amenities you might need. The view was a beautiful snow and ice covered lake... just what we were hoping for! The host was very attentive to our needs as well! Look forward to staying again!

A great escape right on the water

We had a blast staying on Owasco. Morning trips on the kayaks followed by exploration of the surrounding areas was great. A quick trip to Cayuga or Skaneateles gives you infinite options for food, drink and entertainment!

Everything was absolutely amazing about this place. View was great, home was so nice. The only complaint that I had was the price for the cleaning crew. Compared to others it was quite high. But overall a wonderful experience!!

We absolutely loved every moment of our stay. Lauren was excellent at communicating. The kitchen was so well stocked. It was awesome having sheets and (nice!) towels provided. Nice touches, such as plentiful phone chargers and shampoo/conditioner. So many fun activities to use from kayaks to lawn games. The location was ideal, feeling very private. Having a dock to bring our boat so great.Would rent again in a heartbeat.

Family Get Away

The property was beautiful and very homey. Big living room. The bathrooms were on the smaller side & “upstairs” had low ceilings. I would say anyone over 5’5 would have to watch their head. Kitchen lacked a few basic cookware. Other than that, property was wonderful. Loved drinking my morning coffee on the back porch.

Whether you’re here for lakefront fun, wine tasting, hiking, or simply quiet time away from it all, we hope this place becomes just as special to you as it is to us.

We live about 20 minutes away, but visit the lake as often as we can. While we’re not local full-time, we have a dedicated and trusted team in the area to help ensure everything is just right for your stay.
