I was able to book and extend my stay easily. Close and convenient to the Morton Plant Hospital. It was a safe and comfortable place to stay while my husband was hospitalized unexpectedly.
Single level, no stairs! Less than a mile from Morton Plant Hospital. Everything I needed was provided and it was convenient to order food, groceries, or rides to the hospital. I felt very safe and comfortable.
I was in Clearwater for a few days for business. The property was very clean and well kept. Mike always responded within minutes to any inquiry I had. I was able to walk to the grocery store (0.5 miles) and to downtown Clearwater on Cleveland St. (1 mile). I was very happy with my stay there.
I stayed for 45 nights. I met the owners many times. There main concern was my satisfaction. Very nice people.
The unit was very clean and well set up. Everything I needed was there. The area is very safe and quiet.
I will definitely consider this location in the future.
Florida Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Spring Training
I was very impressed with the property. I was traveling by myself & it was an excellent location & close to everything I wanted. It was close to Dunedin & the Gulf as I was there to catch a few spring baseball games for the Blue Jays. I wanted to stay on the Clearwater side of Old Tampa Bay to avoid heavier traffic.
Mike was very responsive & even supplied me his direct cell phone # if I had any issues. One small issue came up & was resolved immediately. I met Mike (Sr) & Donna & they were fantastic to talk to & answer any general enquiries I had.
During my booking process I had asked about the style of coffeemaker the unit had . Mike replied to me quickly & even asked what type of coffee I drank. When I told him he went out locally & bought it for me & left in the unit! A great measure of extra customer service!
To improve my stay I would suggest installing a "curved" shower rod holder in the bathroom tub/shower combination. This would allow more shoulder room in the shower. I am 6 ft tall so adding raised shower head would be a big improvement as well. Overall a fantastic experience & I would stay here again.
Great place to stay. Close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Very clean, well appointed condo. Quiet neighborhood. Mike was great. Very responsive. He hooked me up with my a box fan (lol), and found a local gym for me. I would go back in a heart beat.
I chose this place for 2 reasons;
1) It was the cleanest of all the locations on Hotel.com, in this area.
2) It was a ground floor, 1-bedroom, apartment and the owner allowed me to bring my expensive bike into the place- which I wasn't sure I could do at a Marriott.
It was a "work-a-tion". I spent the 2 days on my laptop or my bike. Perfect for that.
Fortunately, I could tether my cell phone to get an internet connection, but it would have been nice to have use of the cable modem, had I not been able to do that.
Sincerely,
Steve Simon
