4 Bedroom Poconos Lake House Getaway

Get ready to experience peace of mind and cater to your mental health at this one of a kind Poconos retreat. Enjoy a serene and amenity-filled oasis for you and your family and friends.

1. Renter Requirements: Renters must be 25 years of age or older and we will require photocopies of drivers licenses to ensure compliance with this rule. Families with children are the only exceptions to this rule.

2. Per the rules of Indian Rocks community, all reservations between 2 nights and 30 nights must submit a Short Term Rental Agreement and read the Indian Rocks Rules and Regulations. The rental agreement must be submitted to at least 1 week prior to the reservation date.

2. NO ACCESS TO THE POOL: Due to the abuse of the pool by previous guests, we no longer offer access to the community pool.

3. NO LOUD MUSIC - Please be mindful of the neighbors in the Indian Rocks community. You may be fined by the community if your music is too loud.

4. TRASH MUST BE PLACED IN THE TRASH CANS OUTSIDE. For the health and safety of the animals and wildlife, do not leave trash bags on the curb. You may be fined by the community if trash is not placed in appropriate trash bins.

5. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS: Due to Covid restrictions, please bring your own toiletries (soaps, shampoos, conditioners) and own your own towels.

6. PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE DEER

7. ONLY TOILET PAPER AND HUMAN WASTE IN THE TOILETS: If the septic tank is clogged during your stay, you will be charged a $300 fee.

8. If you lose the house key, you will be charged a $50 replacement fee.

9. A PA fishing license is required for anyone who is 16 years of age and older. It is illegal to fish without a fishing license. PA fishing licenses are required to be displayed on an outer garment while fishing. Contact the campgrounds or the Wallenpaupack Sports Shop at 570-226-4797 for licensing info.

A little nitpicking

Overall, everything was satisfactory, but the front door lock was very challenging. So much so, that we didn’t lock up when we left the residence for fear we wouldn’t be able to get back in. The sliding screen door needs attention along with some of the window screens. it would have been nice to have a toaster, but we may do without it and also there was an abundance of towels, however, only one washcloth for the seven of us. We found a place very spacious and comfortable. We very much enjoyed the fire pit outside and the deer rambling through. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay

Great property just a couple min from the lake!

Renting the property was super easy and the owners very responsive! The friendly visits from the deer each morning was a great way to start each day! The home was clean and fit all our needs!

I believe that one's mental and spiritual health should be top priority and there is nothing like the peace and serenity that you find when you allow yourself to be one with nature. I love the Poconos because it gives me a chance to remove myself from the rat race, recharge, find my equilibrium.

I am new to VRBO.

The Poconos is my safe haven and I am excited to share the same peace that I experience in my home with other families as well.

Why they chose this property

My home is truly a great place for families big or small. There is plenty of room for children to play both inside and outside and it also wonderful for couples looking for a nice getaway.

There are also plenty of amenities a short distance from my home. Everything from skiing, snowboarding, hiking, bird watching, swimming and fishing or right is right at your fingertips. My home is also perfect for just a nice quiet time at home by the fireplace.

What makes this property unique

There is nothing like the calming breeze, the fresh air and the wildlife that you find here. Even in the winter time, the endless amenities and outdoor activities will make you never want to leave.
