Lovingly restored farmhouse on the Colorado River less than a mile from La Grange's historic main square! Our 100 year old home holds its age well, but guests should know to expect some chipped paint, wood floors with authentic wear & tear. If these walls could talk!
Despite its pastoral setting, this house has city water and lightening fast internet.
Centrally located just 60 minutes from Austin, 90 minutes from Houston, and 2 hours from San Antonio.
Plenty of room for large groups to spread out and relax: separate upstairs and downstairs living rooms, three bedrooms, 1.5 baths, three porches, large yard, and firepit; Wi-fi and TVs in all rooms,
650' of river frontage and located next door to city boat ramp and fishing dock (perfect launching spot for tubes, canoes, boats or kayaks); 2.5 miles to Fayette County Fairgrounds (MS 150), and only 12 miles to Warrenton/Round Top Antique Fair.
Whether you are looking for a romantic get-away, a family vacation, get-together with a group of friends, or an antiquing weekend, this property has something for everyone.
Note: for those with impaired mobility, please be aware that the stairs are steep and rim on the claw-foot bathtub is fairly tall.
