We really enjoyed this apartment overlooking water street. It was very clean, spacious and in great condition. It had a nice relaxing feel and was an excellent location.

This is a great location for walking to stores and restaurants. The apartment was very charming and roomy. Nice large bathroom, comfy bed, fully stocked kitchen. We would definately recommend this place!

Perfect location for exploring Decorah. Top notch accommodations, modern yet decorated with cute retro pieces. It is an upstairs unit in an older building, so if steps are an issue, be forewarned. We absolutely loved it!

This Loft on Water Street is conveniently close to everything! It was beautifully appointed with whatever you may need and sized perfectly for the two of us. Spacious as you get ready for your day and a comfortable space to relax at the day's end. Clean & ready to go! The Lofts on Water Street are some of the many updates Decorah has in place to help you enjoy this beautiful NE Iowa town.

Cute apartment in the perfect location right on Water Street, walking distance to so many restaurants. The towels were the best towels we have ever found in a rental home, even better than most hotels! The coffee shop across the street was great and we loved the ice cream at the Sugar Bowl just down the street. We will rent this again next time we come to Decorah.

We experienced this property just as it was booked. Although an older building, it was extremely clean and furnished in a fun, retro style. The location on Water Street was perfect as a launching point to explore Decorah.

Clean and comfortable stay

The apartment is exactly what it shows in pictures. It’s clean and the kitchen has everything we needed for our long weekend getaway. The lotions and soaps are all great quality. Mattress and towels are comfortable. Right on the Main Street, across from a great coffee shop and shops and restaurants. Close driving to hiking trails and breweries. Would absolutely stay again.

The quality and location of the space were ideal, although you’ll need to get friendly with any tenants in the adjoining apartment if you want laundry access.

Perfect Location

We absolutely loved our stay in Decorah! The house was adorable—thoughtfully decorated with a cozy, homey feel that made us feel instantly comfortable. The location truly couldn’t be better—just a short walk to all the shops, restaurants, and charm of downtown. At the same time, it was still an easy drive to all the local hikes and outdoor adventures we had planned. Such a perfect spot for both relaxing and exploring. Highly recommend!

Perfect location and so CUTE!

This one bedroom apartment above a retail store on the main strip of Decorah was the perfect place to enjoy Decorah and be able to walk to all the cute restaurants and stores. The apartment is laid out perfectly with so many fun and eclectic touches. LEAH was a great host and always answered my questions. I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.

Cute and convenient

The apartment was perfect for my stay in Decorah. It was -10 degrees and I was so cozy and warm with the radiator heat. The space is cute, convenient walking to restaurants, shops, and food coop and grocery store. The owner I met is super friendly and you can tell she has a flair for mid-century interior decorating and design. Highly recommended!

This was one of our best stays we’ve ever had. Very charming, beautiful, clean, and the host thought of everything anybody would ever need. The location was great. The bed was very comfortable. Our only (small) issue was that we could hear people loud and clear through the walls while we were trying to sleep as if they were in the room with us. Fortunately, they were not around and loud for very long periods of time, so it was a brief disturbance. We will definitely visit, again!
