¡Venga a disfrutar de algunas de las mejores rutas de pesca y senderismo de truchas del mundo justo afuera de su puerta! La propiedad incluye un frente de arroyo cortado con muchos pozos de pesca profunda, así como varias especies de vida silvestre y flores silvestres diseminadas a lo largo de los 24 acres. Host was great! House was not as nice as we had hoped. It was a little dirty when we arrived. I had to vacuum floor and clean off countertops. Ladybugs crawling all over everywhere inside.No outside porch light we could find, so we had to use flashlights coming and going early morning and evening.

Perfect getaway for fishing

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. It’s located in the perfect spot for fly fishing and was quiet and secluded. The property was beautiful and the inside of the cabin was cozy. We would highly recommend and will stay here again!

Luther Graduation

The cabin fit our needs perfectly. We got up and went for a long walk on the trails in the morning and sat outside on the covered deck and played cards in the afternoon. Plenty of room for everyone to meet up and spend quality family time together between events.

The cabin was perfect for our fishing trip. We enjoyed watching the turkey and deer as we watched the sunset on the covered deck.

Trout Cabin

The cabin was great, perfect size for the four of us. Good distance from other trout streams and good food/drink. The cabin overall was good, clean, and comfortable! Would recommend staying there.

Excellent location for trout fishing! Communication was handled promptly.So, we new how to meal prep

Love the location and distance from town to do activities with our family. Was above and be on handle cook a meal as a family. And love that all the items with cookware was at this location. That’s a plus, with a family. The accommodations were above our expectations! Great getaway if you love nature.

Great property but needs updating

This is our second stay at this location. The property and area is wonderful. If you’re looking for a quiet spot to getaway for a few days and don’t require fancy accommodations, this is for you. However, I would love to see a few updates made to this cabin. Our backs are so sore from sleeping on the outdated mattress in the main bedroom. It’s time to think about bringing in a new one, as well as new sheets. They’re so ratty and pilled! Very scratchy on the skin. The coffee took over one hour to brew and doesn’t stay warm because the heating plate is totally roasted. Please get a new coffee maker, they’re pretty cheap. Can something be done about all the annoying gnats on the porch? Maybe have someone come out and spray the property. We could barely enjoy ourselves outside. Okay, other than that, great stay, and we’ll probably come back once the bed has been updated. We can bring our own coffee pot. ;)

Fishing trip

Absolutely wonderful. Very peaceful quiet place, close to Canoe creek for fishing. I will be back. Went with son in law and he stated he will bring his family up there. Loved the fact that it was a dark area so stars at night were amazing. Lots of wildlife to see, even got to meet neighbors dog, which we named Ralph, very well trained and friendly.

Family Getaway

The property was exactly what we were looking for---private and peaceful with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for our family of 3. The host Brendon was very responsive and provided detailed instructions for the check-in and check-out process. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you need and the carport was nice to protect our vehicle from the elements.

Great visit!

This is our third visit and we will be back. Cabin is not fancy, but has everything we needed. Spent time trout fishing and just enjoying nature. I highly suggest this cabin if you are looking for a getaway away from it all!

A very quiet and clean get away

The cabin was very cozy, clean, and quiet. A wonderful setting with all the comforts needed to relax and get away. Brendon was very responsive and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

Location was perfect for fishing the Upper Iowa

Very good stay. Location was great- within 15 minutes of all our fishing stops. The house suited four of us well. NIce large bathroom with plenty of hot water.

This was our second visit, but not last. This property is perfect for those wanting to be in nature. Clean, comfortable house, with plenty of wildlife to watch! Great trout streams nearby. Hosts are responsive to questions. Great place to stay!

Great get away!

We had a great time at this cabin. We walked down to the trout stream and caught a couple trout! We drove to close by streams and caught trout. Sitting on the porch was so relaxing even though it was hot during our stay, the breeze kept it comfortable. The cabin is well stocked and very comfortable. We will definitively be back.

The BEST kept secret location!

If you are looking for privacy, seclusion, and relaxation this is the place for you! We LOVE this property and hope to return for a third (and more) time. The fishing is great and right in your back yard. The property is beautiful; we saw deer every day and had some amazing bird watching with our binocs. It is only a short drive to some good restaurants and cute shops (Decorah). The house is stocked with everything you need. This is the only property we’ve ever made a point to visit for a second time, and we can’t wait to come again!

Awesome second time around

This was our second start here First one in November of 2021!!! It was awesome then and we just did 4th of July 2023 and it was just as awesome!!! Caught a bunch of trout, enjoyed the views of the property and spent time in town swimming at Trout Run Park
