A sweet stay amongst the rooftops of Rudesheim

We had a wonderful stay in the Schwalbenest. It was really cute. Everything was clean and tidy and the hosts were really helpful and friendly. It was a great location right in Old Town yet was really quiet. We could walk to everything. Some of the other reviews mentioned a lot of stairs. This is true but my family didn't mind at all. It is worth climbing the steps for such a little gem of a place. Michael even helped us with our luggage. We would definitely book this place again if ever in the area without hesitation. Thank you Michael and Monika!

Alles war perfekt ! Es gibt hier viele Möglichkeiten. Man kann kochen, Fahrrad fahren, fernsehen. Und der Ort ist auch sehr interessant. Es ist sehr nah am Stadtzentrum aber trotzdem sehr ruhig !

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Die Wohnung passte genau auf unsere Bedürfnisse. Es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Konnten den Balkon und auch die Schwalbenhöhle nutzen, was uns auch sehr entgegen kam. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr zentral, so das auch für meinen gehbehinderten Ehemann alles gut fussläufig zu schaffen war. Die Seilbahn, die Rheinschifffahrt, das Zentrum alles ist in weniger als 10 Minuten zu erreichen.

Herbsturlaub in Rüdesheim

Da das Wetter nicht wirklich auf unserer Seite war, hatten wir Glück, daß wir eine so schöne schnuckelige Wohnung erwischt hatten. Die Lage war hevorragend. Man konnte jeden Abend, ohne Auto, in einem anderen Restaurant essen gehen. Kostenlose Parkplätze gibt es in der Umgebung genug. Direkt am Haus ist es nicht möglich.Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Steht in der Beschreibung 2 OG da Schwalbennest und Schwalbenhöhle es ist ein 300 Jahre altes Historische Haus .. und es ist ein ganz normales Doppel Bett kein Futon. Das zweit Zimmer hätte man dazu buchen können wenn gewünscht

A true swallow‘s nest

Cozy apartment under the roof, had everything we needed as a home base. The stairs up to the space are tight and one needs to be mindful to not hit one’s head. It is a historic house after all. The bed is comfortable and while the kitchen is tiny, it contains anything we needed to fix breakfast. There was a whole additional bedroom across the way we dis not even use. The hosts are very friendly and attentive. The location is wonderfully central and parking on the municipal parking lot for 12 Euro a day was just around the corner and very pleasant. We had a very nice time.

Characterful and comfortable apartment that is conveniently close to the centre of Rudesheim

This was an excellent apartment to stay in, I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting a base for seeing the Rhine gorge from. The apartment has two rooms, the first is a combination of bedroom, living room, kitchen and dining room, while the second just a bedroom, plus a bathroom. Both rooms are quite large and comfortable. Monika is a good host and met us and explained the apartment to us when we arrived. Positives Despite being in the centre of Rudesheim it is very quiet (at least until 7 when the church bells wake you!) which also means it is conveniently only a few minutes walk from restaurants and the Rhine or 10 mins from the railway station for exploring further afield. The rooms are comfortable, tastefully decorated, and as an old building have some character – such as exposed beams. The kitchen is adequately equipped, though perhaps not sufficiently if intending to be doing extensive cooking rather than just the odd simple stopgap as we were. Negatives The only negative I could mention is that as an attic apartment it can get very hot in sultry summer weather, not something that much can be done about, though to mitigate this the windows are large and on opposite sides of the main room so if there is any air movement provide a good cooling breeze.

Mitten in Rüdesheim

Die Wohnung ist klein, aber fein und liegt wirklich zentral in Rüdesheim. Fußläufig sind die Weinberge für Spaziergänge und Wanderungen gelegen als auch Restaurants, Kneipen und das Herz von Rüdesheim. Die ebenfalls im Haus lebenden Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und überhaupt nicht aufdringlich. Eine super Ausgangsbasis im eine schöne Zeit in der Region zu verbringen.

Charmante Wohnung mit freundlichem Gastgeber

Für einen Besuch in Rüdesheim am Rhein und Umgebung war diese kleine Wohnung perfekt. Die Gastgeber waren außergewöhnlich zuvorkommend, einladend, freundlich und charmant. Wir reisten mit unserer Katze und es wurde alles getan, damit er sich auch willkommen fühlte. Die Ausstattung war ausgezeichnet, sauber und korrekt. Parkplätze sind nicht weit. Mein Partner und ich (und unsere Katze) sind sehr dankbar für alles.
