Our hosts were so gracious to work with us and accommodate our travel needs. We drive from Houston with three kids under the age of 6 and they were great to let us check in as early as we wanted so we could do the long drive at night.
The location is great! Literally a 3 min drive from the zoo, which is one of the best things in Nashville if you have kids. Also, the is a phenomenal Thai food place called Deg Thai just down the road (ranked 45th in the nation for any kind of restaurant by Yelp). And downtown Nashville was only like 15 min. Great location.
The house is comfortable with nice furnishings and my kids loved the arcade game. Or only knock was that although surfaces were clean, there are a lot of signs of wear and tear on the walls that could use a paint job and some things like door stops and toilet paper holders were coming off the walls. If you have a toddler, you might want to bring a portable child gate for the long flight of stairs as well.
All in all a great place and we would definitely book again.

Modern Catastrophe
There are so many negative things to say about this stay so let me start with the two positives. It was nicely remodeled and it was very close to the Thai restaurant Deg Thai. That is where the good stops! First, when I couldn’t enter the property I called 6 times & texted twice and was not able to reach the host. They only reached out to me after I called VRBO! Upon speaking with the host it was still several minutes before we actually gained access to the house. The issues were the manual lock on the back door was locked and the front door had to be pulled forward to engage the lock. I expressed that this was important information that should have been included in the original house instructions. All total it took just under an hour to gain access to the home. Second, there were several issues with the property: - Only 2 dishwasher podsNo hand soap on 1st floor bathroom Only 8 bath towelsNo coffeeNon-stick pans were stickingNo trash bagsRusted skilletBroken blinds on door and a window Dented fridgeKitchen banquette damaged Doorknob damaged wall in primary Dressers in primary were damagedBathroom missing a hook and towel ring was dentedStained bedding in every room Bleached bath mats in both bathroomsBroken chair in living room Last and most egregious was the amount of bugs, especially earwigs. They were everywhere!
