The Lauderdale House (permiso # CASR-201528747) es una gran casa de lujo de 5. 5 baños en el prestigioso vecindario de Cherokee Park en Nashville. Somos propietarios y anfitriones experimentados de Homeaway / VRBO, con cinco casas de alquiler de vacaciones altamente revisadas en el área de Nashville. Personalmente, siempre nos quedamos en casas de vacaciones cuando viajamos, por lo que entendemos de primera mano lo que se espera y lo que se necesita en los alquileres de vacaciones. ¡Sabemos exactamente lo que está buscando y nos esforzamos para entregarlo!

PROS: size of house, location to everything, quiet beautiful neighborhood, very unique layout and design, 7 bedrooms, 4 living/sitting areas, beds were very comfortable, TONS of closets/storageCONS: older home that needs a lot of attention, doors are hard to close, 1 bedroom door doesn’t close at all, cobwebs, age related stains and damage, There were no check out procedures which is both good and bad.I never heard from the property manager, but I also didn’t anything. I sent him a detailed list of what needs to be addressed before the next guest (blown bulbs, broken faucet, missing knobs, no dish tabs). All in all, it was an ok experience.

There were dirty dishes left in the oven with food on it, dishwasher was extremely dirty on the inside so we have to hand wash all of dishes, missing utensils for cooking and dish cloths/ hand towels were very minimal available. However, the house is extremely spacious and was great for my bachelorette party of 10 people. Almost everyone had their own bedroom. The pool and hot tub were a nice touch. Beds were comfortable.

Property has Potential but fall way short!

We are a family of five with two Grandparents. We booked this as the online photos looked good, it was a great location and had many amenities that we could enjoy during our vacation, a pool, hot tub, pool table, etc. and wanted a home away from home. This property has so much potential but at the moment is very lacking maintenance and upkeep. It is in a beautiful neighbourhood that safe for walking and running, friendly neighbours and close to all amenities until you arrive. First impression, the yard is very over grown and obviously not kept up like others in the neighbourhood. There’s garbage bins in the driveway that were overrun with garbage.When entering the home you quickly smell mold and damp air. The place is very damp but the house is huge with lots of large rooms, a bathroom for everyone.Given we had prepaid for the week we didn’t have any other options but to make the best of it. During the week, it’s obvious there’s no maintenance ever done at the property as the dryer didn’t work, the dishwasher was broken and it just gross, the hot tub didn’t work as it should, the furniture is filthy that you don’t want to sit in it. Many other things broken but too long to list. I travel a lot internationally and this has to be the worst yet. Would not stay again unless really stuck. This property has so much potential to be great but needs some investment.

Big house, NOT worth the money

We rented this house for 2 days for a family get away with all of our adult kids. My husband and I decided we would like to come a day early without the kids. So I contacted Greg and was told I could add another day and was charged for the extra day and received my email confirmation. A few days later I received a message that I could not stay an extra day and my money was refunded to me. That was the first problem. This house i s a lot bigger than advertised. Its actually a 5 bedroom, but they are legally only allowed to list it as a 4 bedroom. The neighborhood is wonderful and was nice to take my granddaughter for walks . Check in was easy, but definitely not parking 3 cars in the driveway if you don't have little compact vehicles. The refrigerator had mold in it, so I cleaned it with bleach and paper towels that I had to go buy. The water in the downstairs bathroom only got warm at best when taking a shower, so I went upstairs to take shawers. The room the pool table is in is not big enough for it. You have to open up the closet doors to be able to use your pool stick. The walls and doors are very dirty. The gas grill does not start without using a lighter that we had to go buy. The gril also had old dirty foil left on it. The pool is not new and is an electrocution waiting to happen. Extension cords, especially the connection point, are not designed to be waterproof, and water intrusion can lead to electrocution.

We had a group a 8 stay for a birthday weekend. Loved how much space there was in both common areas and in bedrooms. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, away from touristy areas of Nashville. Host was responsive and we would definitely return!

Good for bachelorette stay

The house was in a good location and had lots of space for a big group. There were some issues - one of the toilets wasn’t working when we arrived (the host send someone to fix it two days later); a number of light bulbs were out; there were a good number of lightbulbs out and cobwebs; lots of drawers were missing knobs; and the hot tub cover was very broken. The house could use some general fixing up and a good deep clean.

Spacious but could use TLC

First the good - the place is enormous. The pictures really don't do it justice and the very unassuming outside hides a very spacious interior. When it says it will sleep 12 in comfort, they really mean it. The neighborhood is very convenient to the market, Centennial Park and Vanderbilt. It is a very quiet, family neighborhood. The property manager was responsive. Kitchen is well stocked with a variety of dishes, pots, pans, bowls, etc. Now the not-so-good - everything about the place could use TLC. The grounds in the front and back need cleanup. The inside could use a good deep clean. There were multiple places with cobwebs in the corners. There was functioning light in every room, but multiple light bulbs were out throughout the house. The hot tub water was just about air temperature (so not really a hot tub at all). There was a dripping faucet, a toilet which ran for quite a while after every flush, and a broken drain in a tub. The dryer is missing the lint filter. One of the bathrooms had handles missing from the faucets. I could go on with little things, but I think I've made my point. I would say the hot tub is the only major issue. Everything else is minor, but there are a lot of those.

Great house with room for everyone — just a few quirks

This property is truly a great find, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. Our younger kids (8 & 10) loved having the master suite’s entry room with the TV all to themselves — it was perfectly separated from the other bedrooms, which gave them their own little hangout zone. The teens took over the entryway and pool table room, which gave them space to be silly and have fun without disturbing anyone. Meanwhile, the adults enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable living room. Everyone had a spot that felt like their own.The pool was open, but unfortunately it was a bit too cold to use during our stay. The hot tub, however, got plenty of use and was a great bonus!The only reason I can’t give a full five stars is that some of the appliances and fixtures could really use some attention. The dryer, in particular, makes a very loud and constant squealing noise — so much so that we only ran laundry while we were out of the house, which was a bit inconvenient. The dishwasher also makes some pretty jarring noises during its cycle. The grill worked, but it’s quite rusted and required some cleanup before we felt comfortable using it (we had to remove some deteriorating reflectors inside). Lastly, the exhaust fan in the red bathroom doesn’t seem to be working — after steamy showers, we noticed water running down the walls.These are all things that migh

Family getaway

Positives: Wonderful neighborhood! Tons of space. Great layout to the house. So comfortable and our family of 6 were not cramped in the slightest. Very clean interior. Negatives: The pool is 4ft with no deep end. Tons of bathrooms, but some repairs needed in a few of them. The landscaping was not very pretty.

Nashville perfect.

Great location, very upscale neighborhood, felt very safe, and walks were taken. Lots of space with plenty of bedrooms for privacy. Hot tub was working well. Pool table was fun. About the only ding was the the kitchen. Don’t expect to have large sit down meals, the table sits four. Cookware is insufficient to cook for large groups. But other that that, it was very good.

Great for a sibling reunion

Seven adults descended on Nashville for a reunion of siblings. The house met all our needs and was perfectly situated for easy access to multiple areas. We didnt use the pool but it looked inviting. Beds and bedding were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked but could have used some larger pans for cooking for our group. All in all, a pleasant stay in a beautiful neighborhood.

Large and close to downtown

This is a large home close to downtown. It also has grocery close by to reduce your eating out cost. Pool and hot tub was nice. The landscaping was overgrown and needed help. The key pad to get inthe house stuck 80% of the time. There were stremers and tape left in corners of the ceiling the rooms. The bathroom light downstairs near living room didn't work. But overall it was a fun time with friends and family.

Needs a lot of TLC

The contact before arriving was great, non-existent afterward. I called the mgmt company number I was given so we could check our luggage, then was told there is a fee to do so. I refused to pay a fee to store my luggage when that cost was not listed in the listing. So I was told "Oh we can wave that this time" If you are going to charge a luggage fee then that should be in the listing. The house needs a lot of maintenance. You can tell it's very worn down and not maintained very well. The hot tub didn't work, asked and never received a response. The towel bars fall off the wall if you put a towel on them. The oven door is falling off, the dishwasher door is broken. Many light bulbs burned out throughout the house. A few showers did not drain very well. The downstairs shower the light doesn't work and the drain has 2 holes that are open so its drains very slow. We had to go out and get toilet paper and paper towel. As there was nowhere near enough for 12 people for 4 days. The place could really use a deep clean. tape and streamer stuff stuck to the walls in various rooms assuming from a previous renter. However it served it's purpose and everyone had their own space. It just really needs some TLC or a better mgmt. company as if the owner is paying for that they are getting ripped off. Also was never able to get the TV to work. The guest setup came up finally on our last night, so it was useless.

Perfect house for friends trip.

The host was very friendly and accommodating when I booked our trip originally it was for a different date, when I asked the host to switch dates he was so helpful and did just that no questions asked. The house is huge and easy to get turned around in. We had six people in the home with plenty of space. The home comes with a huge above ground pool and a nice hot tub which both were very clean and maintained. The neighborhood is nice and people walking around outside and family friendly. The house was clean and had everything we needed, it is a close drive to downtown and stores, I would recommend staying if you are looking for more room and cheaper than a hotel. The only down fall we came across was when it came to getting into the house was the code given did not work. It did take about an hour to finally get a hold of the host to get in, but once we were in it was a great stay.

Great Stay!

The house is great, plenty of space, the pool and hot tub were a welcome amenity, the location is a short car ride to the all attractions but is nice an quiet at night. We highly recommend this listing.

A week in Nashville

We truly enjoyed our stay at this home. The management team were very responsive to any questions or needs we had. The layout of the home is perfect for a group stay. The neighborhood is so nice and quiet and everything is within 5-10 miles.

Excellent

We had a great time. Location was great. We had access to all the things Nashville had to offer and for the times we just wanted to hang out and chill the house was comfortable to do this too. Only real negative and I'm not sure that anything could have been done differently... was the outside trash was overflowing so we had no where to place our trash for the week.

Beautiful big home. Lots bed rooms. Lots of bathrooms. Work well with our group. Parking was a bit of a challenge
