Great location near shopping and the ocean. Was clean and had a fully-equipped kitchen. Great for pets with a fenced-in backyard. The pool was great, and we spent lots of quality time outdoors.

The ceiling fan in the main bedroom squeaked all night. You may need to replace it. I could not get the shower to work in the main bedroom. Carpet was stained. Bed was comfy and tv option's were great. Overall a nice place to stay for a short trip.

Perfect for the holidays

Property was perfect for our needs. Rooms are large. Backyard was awesome for our dogs. Bring a towel to clean paws as it does get pretty muddy back there! Over all it was a fantastic place to stay while visiting our daughter for the holidays.

The massive winter storm Fern had been predicted and we knew we would not be able to get there due to the weather. In communication , the host was cold and uncaring, basically saying “sorry about your luck”. Maybe VRBO should include a link to travel insurance company.

Someone came trying to come in reached out to the people no response supposed to be a house ended up a apartment oven was on and off working tilt barley worked so of the eyes on the stove didn’t work furniture Pelli g all thes this for 510 dollar

The worst property you can ever live in, I was stuck out of my house at 1am for 12 hours, with no response from the host. They are not replying to my texts, JASON IS THE WORST HOST EVER. They will not help you even their house is on fire. Oh also did I mention wifi isnt working, no basic utilities like toilet paper or handwash??? My opinion- don’t live in this house even if they are paying you to live there DO NOT LIVE HERE

Most of the space was clean. The host allows dogs which we're grateful for, but definitely had an effect on the smell. I cleaned the bathroom with disinfectant before using it. I'm sure someone closed their dog in there for a while. The bed was comfortable and clean. There was no coffee maker of any kind. We couldn't get the TV in the bedroom we slept in the work. The neighborhood was nice with friendly people. It was close to everything we needed. It was adequate for what we needed and we could bring 2 dogs.

Not as advertised

First this is not a stand alone house as advertised it’s a duplex. This is also the first VRBO we were required to purchase an insurance policy for or leave a ridiculously high security deposit! This is also the first VRBO I have ever dealt with that I had to supply a picture of my drivers license. We arrived to a garbage can and recycle can jammed to the brim giving us the feeling that the property was being neglected before we even entered the unit! We entered to find the carpeting severely stained with what looks like a trail of oil throughout! The couch has the vinyl peeling off with a cover that doesn’t stay in place covering it. The desk is a decent chair placed in front of a flimsy folding table. The fenced in back yard was a disaster with a broken to pieces patio block at the bottom of the stairs and dog poop in the yard. I wouldn’t let our dogs out there! The deck is in need of a thorough cleaning and new deck furniture as the existing has seen better days. We paid for 10 days stayed for 3 and moved to a hotel as not to totally ruin our trip! Would be a decent place if it had the much needed TLC!

The stay was quite welcoming but we did encounter a few issues with the master bedroom toilet and sink, which was fixed during our stay. Overall the stay was good. Thank you for opening your home for me I appreciate it!!

Meeting new grandbaby

This nice little duplex was a relaxing place to stay and work while visiting my new grandbaby. The neighborhood felt very safe and offered nice walkability. My dogs loved the back yard. I was lucky to have cooler than normal August weather which made the back deck perfect for some remote work that needed to be done and there was a fine workspace in the master bedroom as well. I had some issues with slow app refreshing getting the check-in information but that all resolved quickly.

We were there for my daughter’s graduation from Duke. Minutes from campus. Very comfy beds. Nice yard for our small dogs.
