The Sunset WindMill - 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa with outdoor jetted tub!

The Sunset Windmill is located at the village of Oia overlooking Santorini’s world famous sunset. On the first floor balcony are located the outdoor Jetted tub and the sitting area which offer spectacular panoramic views of caldera and the crystal waters of the Aegean sea. The villa was renovated in 2023 to offer modern luxurious interiors combined with the original features of the Windmill. Our facilities and staff will make your stay memorable!

A traditional Windmill has been transformed into a modern 100sq. meters house. This 3 bedroom 3 bathroom villa features a spacious hot tub for 6 people on the first floor balcony. From the balcony you will enjoy spectacular unrestricted views of Santorini's famous sunset. There is also a large private yard ideal for breakfast or evening drinks. The ground floor of the Mill consists of an open plan living room with a fully equipped kitchen and a bedroom with a bathroom. On the first floor, you will find a spacious bedroom with access to the first floor balcony and hot tub, with a separate bathroom. On the second floor, there are two single beds that can be converted to a double bed and en-suite bathroom. Shower amenities and towels are available for every guest. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the Mill.

Guests have access to the centre of Oia by foot in just 3 minutes. The neighbourhood is very quiet and safe. There is a free parking space just 50 meters away from the house. The Mill has the easiest access among all the other houses in Oia.

George, the manager of the villa is available 24/7. He would be very happy to help you with any queries or questions.

Well we found the most epic place to stay in Santorini, which provided us our own private sunset right above where the crowds come to see the sunset! Jason was an amazing host that went above and beyond, making our family an amazing breakfast spread every morning, arranging reservations whenever we needed and being available within minutes. The view is the star of the show as you simply can’t find a place with a better view of what you come to Santorini for. Truly a magical place and we would recommend to anyone!

Quick Stay

We headed to Santorini for just 2 nights before leaving on a cruise. This house was perfect! The host arranged airport transportation for us and then Jason, our host, met us at the house and gave us lots of useful information. He arranged to have ATVs delivered to the house for our use the next day, prepared a delicious breakfast for us in the morning and made us feel right at home. It is a perfect spot to see the sunset too!

Our stay at the Sunset Windmill was absolutely amazing. Even before our stay Andreas was very communicative and eager to help us plan the visit. From the moment we arrived, Jason, the host, was incredibly accommodating and was so helpful with getting our luggage into the house and making us feel welcomed. The house was immaculately clean, and just like the pics on Vrbo. Jason was absolutely amazing - always ready to assist with any request or question and he made our stay stress-free and a true vacation. He checked in daily, offered cleaning services and breakfast, and provided us with wonderful local recommendations. Jason is a true hospitality professional and made our stay stress-free and a true vacation. The location is amazing. You can literally walk anywhere in Oia from the Windmill and there are so many restaurants and bars to choose from. Overall, our experience was flawless. I highly recommend the Windmill to anyone looking for a comfortable, pristine, and unique stay with five-star service.

OMG PRIVATE WINDMILL

For three short nights I felt like a local living in one of Santorini’s historic windmills. Every night crowds gathered outside to get a glimpse of the view that we enjoyed every day with a glass of wine from our balcony. The location was lovely and we walked everywhere in Oia! There was a parking lot just outside of the yard to the windmill so no baggage through the touristy streets of Oia like others! We were a family of four plus two friends and filled the windmill but all felt like we had our own space even though there weren’t really “rooms” behind doors - more like a series of lofts. Three slept upstairs on the top floor, my wife and I slept on the middle floor and our teen son slept on the ground floor pull out. Air conditioning was ok especially on the middle floor but we used fans to move air around so everyone was more than comfortable. One night we slept with the windows open as the breeze really picks up after dark. Don’t underestimate George, the caretaker/property manager, who might as well be your private concierge during your stay…. Let him book everything for you with his local connections! He pre purchased snacks and local wine for us to be ready for our late night arrival, scheduled ALL of our taxis as well as dinners. He and his staff made us amazing breakfasts that everyone enjoyed. As we continued on after Santorini, we all wished that every VRBO had a “George” to take of things. He made our trip so much more memorable. Be sure to reach out to him prior to your stay as he meets you in the parking lot and guides you directly to the windmill through small alleys which could be tricky especially if you arrive at night. All in all, if you’re looking for an experience that can’t soon be forgotten, book the Sunset Windmill for your next Oia visit!

Exceptional 3 level home on santorini island of the blue-est skies and water!

Perfect location for activities, meals, shopping, sunsets, walking, vistas! Wonderfully supportive management and smooth, helpful transitions. Andreas and giorgos are an excellent, hospitable team!
