Welcome to Harlie Bahama! This 3 bedroom/2.5 bath in The Commons community is a great place for a family vacation, fishing weekend, or a relaxing getaway. The Commons is just a few blocks from the beach and features a community pool, barbecue grills, and picnic areas. It’s also in the Port Aransas “golf cart zone” and close to restaurants, shopping, and other attractions. This beautifully-decorated townhome sleeps 8 guests, and has a full kitchen and washer/dryer.

Harlie Bahama features a large, open living and dining area with plenty of seating for your entire group. Cable television and wireless internet is available for your use. There is also a full kitchen and pantry with a microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, utensils, and other basic cooking supplies. The first floor also has a sleeper sofa, half bath, and a covered porch for relaxing while watching the kids swim or grilling the catch of the day in the picnic areas. There is also an outdoor shower for when you return from the beach.

When you’re ready to wind down, the upstairs has a master suite with a queen bed, cable television, a generous closet, and a full bath with a tub/shower. Down the hall is the guest bedroom with a queen bed and a bunk room that sleeps two. Both have cable television. Between the bedrooms is the full guest bath with a walk-in shower.

While there are no assigned spaces, The Commons has plenty of parking close to the townhouse. However, there is no on-site boat or trailer storage. Linens and basic soaps are provided, but we do not provide beach towels, laundry supplies, or condiments/spices so please plan accordingly.

This property is DOG friendly. We welcome well trained dogs (no puppies) that are not labeled as "aggressive breeds" with a limit of 2 dogs with a total weight under 100 lbs. We charge a $75 pet fee and ask that you pick up after them when they do their duties outside and kennel or crate them if they are left home alone. If you are bringing a dog, please message us the breed, age and weight of your dog so we can pre-approve them. Unreported dogs will result in a $200 fee, and may result in immediate eviction without reimbursement for the entire reservation.

Short getaway before summer was over

Needed a place in Port to get in a little beach time before school started back up. This property fit the bill. Plenty of room for family of five. Short drive from beach, stores, etc. Would stay again.

Cozy Nice and Cool

The house was nice and clean overall. The kitchen was fairly loaded with pots and pans on average more than other places I have stayed. The A/C was able to keep the house cool at all times and never felt like it was getting warm inside. Great place.

Good Location. Loved the floor plan, all open on main floor with three bedrooms upstairs. Golf cart rentals were only a couple blocks away.

Family Vacation

Harlie Bahama was perfect for our needs. The unit is well maintained and there was plenty of space for the 6 of us to enjoy our vacation. We had no issues. We were met at check-in and given instructions on one of the showers and had no problems at all. My only recommendation if you are staying and planning to cook for your family, bring a large skillet. We have been to various places for years with at least 6 people or more and have never come across a kitchen that has a large enough skillet for cooking for a family. We always bring our own. Other than that, we found all we needed in the kitchen. We found the beds nice and comfortable and the unit was clean and inviting. Thank you Nancy, Bobbi and Andrew for allowing us to stay in your lovely unit.

Fun in the sun

Loved the house. Area was great for our reunion on the beach. Loved the pool. Not enough pots and pans for 7 people, no hot pad holders, beds too soft. Could use some new mattresses. All in all a great place to stay.

Walking distance to the beach

Very accurate description. Great location . Close to everything.. few minor issues like no garbage bags, no basic kitchen spices, limited supplies. uncomfortable mattresses. Laundry in the unit is super nice , but no detergent . Literally everything had to be brought .. very clean, friendly check in process .. we would stay here again- but be more prepared. Thank you !

Overall great but minor issues

The stay was great over all, but i am giving a 3 star rate because of some minor issues. When we got to the property the management did inform us of a “small” leak that occurs with the shower upstairs but the leak was worse than expected and make a huge puddle downstairs being a risk for some people. They did not have extra blankets or towels, only 2 towels per restroom. Over all the place was very clean and maintain. If they fix the leaking problem I would totally recommend!!
