FANGHETTO PARADISE

Welcome to Fanghetto, a very pretty, picturesque village from the 13th century.
The village is perched on its rock in the heart of the Roya valley, on the French-Italian border.

Its houses are made of stone, the streets small, narrow and pedestrian. The village was built in the heart of the olive trees, by monks.

The village is a few minutes walk from the Roya river. We provide you with a guide developed by us, in which we show you the best swimming spots around the house. Some spots are accessible by a walk in the middle of the olive terraces... at the end of the path you will find magnificent natural pools, still wild or sandy beaches on the banks of the Roya.


A few minutes walk from the house, you will discover, along the national road, our local grocery store/bar. Marisa opens her Alibaba cave to you in a typical Italian atmosphere.

Free parking spaces are located on the edge of the village, 3 minutes from the house.

The Roya valley has remained authentic and picturesque, still preserved from mass tourism.
The valley is drained by a river (Roya) 60 km long, it is rich in heritage and outdoor places: the Mercantour National Park, the Valley of Wonders, the typical villages in France and Italy: Tende, Saorge, Breil/sur/Roya, Fanghetto, Airole and its vineyards....

The beaches of the Mediterranean are about 20 minutes from Fanghetto. The cities of the Italian or French Riviera at least 30 minutes: San-Remo, Menton, Monaco, Nice...
Ventimiglia train station serves all the cities of the Riviera, the journey is picturesque and sublime... take advantage of a stop in Ventimiglia to stroll through its daily market... and its fresh fish stalls.

The accommodations are a 25 m2 studio adjoining a charming house with vaulted, atypical, stone rooms.
It is composed as follows:
- A fully equipped kitchen
- A bedroom
- A bathroom
Terrace:
- You will also have access to a 10 m2 terrace, private, panoramic, partly under the vine, for your outdoor meals. It is a 2-minute walk from the accommodation.

Unfortunately, the accommodations are not suitable for people with reduced mobility and young children.
