NOTE: NEW OWNERS... THE CABINS HAVE BEEN DETAIL CLEANED AND MANY UPGRADES SINCE PAST REVIEWS....

The TREEHOUSE is a unique Cabin located on the grounds of Bear Creek Lodge and Cabins. The Resort is quietly tucked into the hillside that surrounds the fun and lively town of Helen. Most guests at Bear Creek just walk into town (it takes about 5 minutes).

The TREEHOUSE Cabin is thrilling for all who come to stay. It is made of all wood, and is built up high among the mighty Oaks and Maples. It has a wrap around porch with rockers and tables and chairs, that let's you commune with all the mountain nature!

Inside the Cabin, all your needs have been lovingly taken care of. It's a forty foot high Cabin from the Hot Tub at ground level, the living area on the first floor, and the private bedroom in the giant loft above. Two full baths, one on each floor. The decor is stunning.

It's all fun and friendliness here, with bonfires at the river on the weekends, bicycling, tubing, or just relaxing by yourself on one of the property swings. We've found that once you stay at Bear Creek Lodge and Cabins, you will return some day!

Cozy cabin in the trees. Great front porch.

  • 5 of 5

A wonderful weekend in a great location. It is the tree house cabin, so expect a short climb up a steep path to get to the deck, but so worth it. Convenient to access all the hiking we did, as well as Betty's for all your vacation necessities.

Great mountain getaway

  • 5 of 5

Met the owner Tim at the cabin at check in. He was great and gave us the tour of the property.

He made us feel at home.

Treehouse was roomy for 4 but sleeps 5. Cooked most of our meals there. Kitchen was great and had all the nessessary appliances required.

Bathrooms were great with ample room and hot water.

Downtown is within walking distance. Along with Helen Tubing and Helen Restarunts.

Great place and very quiet!

Charming & Cozy Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at this lovely little mountain retreat!

Cindy was so kind and easy to work with when we booked the cabin and made some great recommendations for events and activities to check out as well as restaurants in the area to try. When we arrived, Tim was so warm and welcoming as he took us up to the cabin, explained all the features and where to find the things we needed, and answer any questions we had.

The cabin itself has beautiful high ceilings that made it feel spacious and open. On the front porch there were rockers to enjoy while sipping your morning coffee and listening to all the birds wake up. It was so peaceful! Because it's a little off the beaten path (but still easily accessible and found!) you don't here traffic noises or late night party goers. The downstairs hot tub was so relaxing after a long day of hiking, ziplining, and exploring the area. The bed was comfy, the air conditioning worked great, and overall it was the perfect size for just the two of us.

The hike up the hill in front of the property caught us off guard at first, but it's not too bad. The only difficulty we had was taking some of our stuff up thanks to odd shapes and sizes but walking up and down itself is doable. There's a lovely little creek out front as well which adds to the calm and peaceful atmosphere. I'd highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for some R&R and we will definitely return again!

Perfect Birthday Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is a beautiful place surrounded by nature! You can hear the rushing water from the deck and everything is just a short walk that makes it so convenient. It is cozy and comfortable and the amenities are just right. Cindy was so helpful in explaining the cabin surroundings, restaurants, walking trails and points of interest. I would highly recommend this cabin and we will definitely be back to enjoy this property again. Thanks so much for a memorable weekend!
