Small conveniences in this seclusion are gas fridge, lighting & hot plates.
Of course, it is a bit more cumbersome to have no electricity or running water, but it is also fun to take care of the "little things" and determine how little it takes to be satisfied. Drinking water from a spring and service water are taken from the clear lake.
