Wonderful stay at the happy cub. We had everything we needed at the home for a great ski weekend in Killington. Perfectly located near the mountain and nightlife. Great communication from host - quick and responsive.

Thank you for your kind review. We’re so glad you had everything you needed for a great ski weekend and enjoyed the home’s location to both the mountain and local spots. We also appreciate your note on communication, it means a lot. We’d be happy to host you again anytime.
We were so happy with our stay here! There were thoughtful personalized touches, the space was beautiful and had everything we needed, and location was great for what we were looking for. Thank you for the great stay!

Thanks so much Carim! We are psyched to host you again- you guys were great guests.
We had a great stay at the Happy Cub! Comfortable, clean and spacious for our group. The hosts were very communicative in order to assure our check-in and stay were smooth and we could enjoy our get away.
Thank you!
house is very nice and worked out perfectly for our stay. We had 6 guys for a midweek ski trip. We all got our own bed. The layout was great. House was clean and the hot tub was a nice treat after skiing.
Dan and Holly were communicative ahead of and throughout our stay. This house was perfect for a weekend getaway and was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Would rent again!
This property was the perfect place to stay during a weekend ski competition. It’s very close to the lodge, shopping and restaurants. The well-appointed kitchen allowed us to prep meals for all. And the hot tub and games kept everyone entertained while not skiing. Two families with preteen kids fit in well. We would love to stay again!
My husband, son and our friends enjoyed staying at this home. We all slept comfortably and had all of the necessary amenities. Hosts were very proactive and responsive. Appreciated the added touch they provided with the Vermont Maple syrup for our pancakes (I had actually forgot to bring syrup) and coffee. The group was able to enjoy the hot tub each night after a long day of skiing! Will definitely look to stay here again!
We had our crew of electricians stay at Dan & Holly’s home, and overall they had a great experience. The guys really enjoyed the hot tub, and the house had everything they needed during their stay. The only downside was that the listing mentioned there was AC, but unfortunately there was not. The crew ended up sharing a box fan, and since the windows didn’t have screens, they just made the best of it. I didn’t find out about the issue until after they had already checked out, so there wasn’t an opportunity to bring it to Dan & Holly’s attention during the stay, and I truly believe they would have tried to make it right.Dan & Holly were excellent with communication and always responded quickly. Despite the AC issue, we would definitely stay again.
We rented this ski house for Christmas and all was perfect. The hosts were in touch ahead of our travel as the weather was impacting the Killington area. When we arrived, there was a welcoming basket. The place is very spacious and comfortable. The hosts responded immediately throughout our stay. All in all it was perfect. We highly recommend!

Thanks for staying with us over Christmas, we are so glad you thought it was perfect!
Loved the unit. It was a bummer that the hot tub wasn’t heated upon arrival - took a full day to get hot. Otherwise, lovely home!

Hi Misha - We’re glad you enjoyed your stay, and hope you’ll visit again! With our current virus precautions, we are currently replacing all the water in the hot tub between stays - this does mean that the new water takes a while to heat.
We had a nice time at the Happy Cub. The accommodations are a bit more worn than the photos, couch especially, but typical of a VT ski home. Kitchen was well stocked. Hot tub was in need of maintenance but they sent someone quickly while we were there. Stairs and carpet on stairs were a little scary for little ones. Nice stay overall, but expectations were higher based on the photos and ratings.

Thanks for the feedback, we did redo the bedrooms and main bath this year! We will recarpet the stairs based on your feedback. We invest a lot to keep our home in great shape.
Full disclosure, this was my first time using a VRBO and all I can say is that the bar has been set pretty high for the future. The house is in good shape and was neat and clean on arrival and even had some Vermont goodies left for us by the host. My wife and I enjoyed having a quiet base of operations for our 5 nights in Killington. The property is quiet and secluded up a long stone/rock drive just off the main road in Killington. Pictures are accurate and the house is clean and comfortable. hosts were great and when I reached out with a few very (VERY) minor issues they were resolved immediately. Communication was quick and concise. While it was only my wife and I this property has plenty of rooms for more people. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with appliances and utensils and there are plenty of dining, shopping, hiking in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning int he future.
This place is great - there is enough room so that everyone could get together for meals, yet could retreat to your own space for quiet time.
We used this home as base camp for our NOBO thru Appalachian Trail hikers. They slack packed for the 3 rainy days when we were there. The downstairs was perfect for getting off the wet gear and muddy boots. Plenty of places to sit and hang stuff up to dry.
They appreciated the abundance of towels, a hot shower, and a comfy warm bed. They all commented it got them thru those tough wet trail days and allowed them to recover before tackling the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Smart TV came in handy for movie nights as well as casting from phones to see everyone's pictures and videos.
I stayed here to celebrate my birthday with friends and family. These hosts were NO problem to get in contact with and were very helpful with everything we needed. They even allowed some other family members of mine to come visit the house and do an Easter Egg hunt one of the days. They were amazing hosts and I look forward to checking out their other properties!
