This large 3-level cabin in the heart of Townsend, TN is just outside the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Gray Door Cabin and is the perfect retreat for families, couples or large groups. With 4 bedrooms and 3-1/2 baths, this cabin will comfortably accommodate 11 guests. Each room is equipped with a Smart TV. High speed internet is also included with your rental, allowing you to easily access your entertainment apps and stream your favorite movie and TV shows.

With a private hot tub, gas grill, large back deck, fire pit area, and gas fireplace, you may not ever want to leave. If you do want to venture out, you are only a few miles from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Cherohala Skyway, Tuckaleechee Caverns, hiking trails, river tubing, fishing, restaurants and the small town charm of Townsend, TN. Or, you can explore and enjoy the surrounding area - conveniently located to Pigeon Forge/ Dollywood (approx. 35-min drive), and Gatlinburg (approx. 45-min drive).

Loved this house! Hot tub great, porch n firepit made outside sitting wonderful. Very clean inside n out. Bedrooms nice and cool bunk bed room. Loved the arcade and pinball games n even had a separate room that we set up for my gamers x box . Anthony was a great host with very quick response time and in answering my many questions as i am new at this. Even met the yard man and he was very nice and quick. Location was great and off road so quiet. Big thumbs up!!!

Anthony and Kelly were excellent hosts. Great communication and quick responses. Great location: close to a grocery store, easy drive to the park, quiet and peaceful. The house itself worked well for our group of ten - four adults, six kids (ages 8-14). Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. Communal spaces are small-ish, so there wasn't a great place for all of us to hang out together - but there were multiple living spaces, so we usually just separated into groups (adults in the main living room, kids downstairs or on the back porch). Kitchen was just like most rental houses with a semi-random assortment of supplies. Had cutting boards, baking sheets, baking pans, pots & pans, some measuring cups/spoons and plenty of plates, bowls, cups, forks, spoons and cups. (Oddly enough, no knives.) Fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker all worked well. AC worked great. Had plenty of toilet paper and paper towels for our stay.If you love sleeping under a pile of blankets like I do, be sure to bring a few of your own - there was just one per bedroom.

The house was even better than the listing posted! Conveniently located to Smokey Mountain National Park, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. House was spacious, clean, nice deck and hot tub. Roomy enough for 6 adults and young child so we never felt crowded. Game room! TV’s in every room. This stay exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we stepped in we could tell the cabin was scrupulously clean. We chose this VRBO over many others because of the location, but also because of the broken up living spaces. There was not one, but three living room spaces that allowed our family of 7 to get a little time away from each other after our long hikes. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed, and plenty of duplicates. The beds were very comfortable, and the towels were fluffy. The hot tub was clean and set on high. The view from the deck was beautiful. Check in was a breeze.The location was also perfect. We wanted to be very close to both town and the park, and didn't want to drive down a mountain to get anywhere. This location is so close to town we did a coffee run every morning to a charming coffee shop in town, and even walked to get pizza one evening. The drive to one of our morning hikes was just 4 minutes. It was the perfect combo of a stay in the country with the small conveniences of town.We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Perfect. No notes.

family getaway

we had 3 family households staying together, the cabin gave us some much room. plenty of rooms to spread out and spaces to come together. location was great, had a great swimming spot just down the street just inside the park. was very clean and well kept property. already looking forward to coming back someday.

Our spring break trip

The property was very clean and spacious. We ate all of our meals in, so i appreciated the well-equipped kitchen. It was a quiet neighborhood and the kids really enjoyed the hot tub.
