Auprès de mon arbre - PLOTTES
Passionate about history and heritage, Josette welcomes you to an elegant and authentic 18th-century residence, completely renovated into a charming holiday home. Adjacent to the superb manor house dating from 1583 that she occupies (also perfectly restored), it sits peacefully on the edge of a lane, a stone's throw from the first vineyards, in the heart of a picturesque and charming little Burgundian village, steeped in history and perfectly preserved (beautiful 19th-century neo-Romanesque church, wash houses, and numerous carefully restored "cadoles"). Enjoy complete tranquility in the heart of the unspoiled wine country of the Haut-Mâconnais, a place that is both urban and rural, nestled in a valley of vineyards and meadows overlooked by the wooded ridges of the vast surrounding wild forests, within a protected ZNIEFF area renowned for its rich flora and fauna. This spacious and very comfortable gîte features large rooms and generous proportions. A warm, rustic charm enhanced by the unique, slightly retro feel of this once elegant home, as well as by its meticulous heritage restoration (exceptional cement tile floors, molded doors, beams, including one dating back to the original period, marble fireplace mantels, stone sink, and original terracotta tiles). Extensive charm and character abound. An intimate enclosed garden (500 sq m including its courtyard) nestled behind historic stone walls features a pleasantly shaded garden lounge beneath a century-old plane tree. A large, traditional Mâcon-style gallery (sheltered balcony) completes the property. Composition: Detached house adjoining the owner's house (complete independence / carport available in the courtyard). Wi-Fi (fiber optic). Electric heating. First-floor apartment: kitchen/living room, TV lounge, 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed 140x190cm / the other with three single beds 90x190cm), shower room, separate WC. Sheltered balcony + enclosed grounds (500m² / courtyard & garden) + private parking. All amenities including a supermarket 5.5 km away. Orange mobile network only. The countryside at the edge of town, in the heart of the Haut-Mâconnais vineyards! An elegant, authentic 18th-century residence, fully restored, nestled in a peaceful setting in the heart of a picturesque, typical Burgundian wine-growing village, steeped in history and perfectly preserved, 5.5 km from the charming gastronomic and commercial town of Tournus, home to a world-renowned abbey (all amenities available, including supermarkets and numerous sports and leisure facilities). A magnificent rural and natural setting surrounds the property, a gently rolling vineyard-covered mountain range blending agriculture and unspoiled nature, largely protected as Natura 2000 and ZNIEFF sites for their rich ecosystems, overlooking the Saône Valley on the foothills of the Southern Burgundy Massif (a vast wilderness area to explore on foot or by mountain bike). An exceptionally privileged location on the Romanesque churches circuit, with various marked hiking trails, including several "green walks" (an extensive network of similar hiking paths winding between vineyards and unspoiled nature). Discover the area) and the renowned GTM mountain bike trail, certified "FFC Mountain Bike" (Grand Tour of the Southern Burgundy Massif, connected to a vast network of identical mountain bike trails crisscrossing the massif in a "star" pattern), adjacent to the "Burgundy Wine Route" which extends into the "Great Wines Route", 1 km from the GR76 long-distance hiking trail alongside the famous GR "Cluny Way" (ViaCluny) and the legendary "Monks' Way" (once linking the abbeys of Cîteaux and Cluny), 2 km from the "Cycloroute71" (Tour of the Saône-et-Loire by bike), 6 km from the Voie Bleue (along the banks of the Saône) adjacent to the Voie Verte of the "Great Loop of Southern Burgundy" and 16 km from the renowned Mont-Saint-Romain downhill mountain bike track. A prime location in the heart of the Mâconnais region and its famous vineyards. (AOC Chardonnay), at the crossroads of the Ain, the Tournugeois-Clunisois (designated a "Land of Art and History"), the Chalonnais, and the Bresse Bourguignonne, not far from the vineyards of the Côtes Chalonnaises, Beaujolais, and the world-renowned Côtes de Beaune and Hautes Côtes de Beaune. Ideal for easy exploration (A6 motorway 6 km away): 10 km from Lugny ("the small capital of the Haut-Mâconnais," the leading wine producer of Burgundy wines, home to a renowned treetop adventure park), 11 km from the medieval town of Brancion, 12 km from the rare Truchère Nature Reserve (a remarkable protected ecosystem), 12 km from Cuisery (listed among the very exclusive 8 French "Book Villages"), 17 km from Pont de Vaux (river marina on the Saône), 17 km from the caves of Blanot is 26 km from the medieval town of Saint-Gengoux-le-National, a designated "Town of Character of Burgundy-Franche-Comté", 29 km from Mâcon (Mâcon-Loché train station 35 km away), 31 km from the renowned abbey town of Cluny, 32 km from Louhans, 33 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (designated a "Town of Art and History"), and 38 km from the magnificent Roche de Solutré, a designated "Grand Site de France".
