This was one of my favorite places to stay at. Diana was very accommodating and the property was so cozy. The views from the deck were beautiful and a family of elk would stop by every evening! I was not ready to leave. Can’t wait to be back.

It was a wonderful time. We enjoyed a lovely home. It clean and very relaxing. The views were amazing. On arrival we were greeted by an Elk and a baby. It was magical. This home is easy to access and would work well for those requiring a wheelchair and those of us who prefer to climb stairs. Pet friendly which is nice. The host communication was excellent! Ease of entry and exit. Plenty of activities to enjoy, with a wide range of shopping, new, hand crafted and antiques. Great for families but also for couples to enjoy. We are already planning to book again soon!!

First off this was one of our best trips to the pine area because this neighborhood got so many elk including a nice big bull and all the babies. Made our daily walks super enjoyable. Property was nice and we liked the Native American touch it had. I only have 3 main complaints and 1 is a preference. 1 the grill out back is reaching the end of its life. Only 1 burner worked and it took awhile to get a good sear on our steaks for dinners. 2nd. This is an older property and in the middle of a forest so we expected insect friends but we were finding so many house spiders crawling around and we got lit up with bites in our sleep. Gives me the heebie jeebies lol. Lastly like I said its a preference but my wife and I didnt sleep the best this trip as the mattress was uncomfortable we were tossing and turning alot. Big pro though lemme tell you that water heater WORKS for those that like hot showers. Overall this was an enjoyable stay and we love escaping the city to somewhere secluded. Everyone in the neighborhood is super kind. Thank you for having us!!

Thanks for the input on the Grill. No one has complained so we did not know. We will get it replaced. Also good to know about the spiders. We have an exterminator spray once a month, I will ask them to come two times a month until summer is over. Thank you and hope you come again.

Well my review on this was. It seemed very welcoming… except master bedroom bed sheets had not been changed & shower was not cleaned as well. I made known to the owner Diane and she responded with her complete apologies & gave me 100 credit. It is pet friendly but the back yard is loaded with little round thorns that I had to spend a lot of time pulling out at least 20 to 30 thorns out of each paw of my dog. But other than that it was a nice little cabin. Watching the elk & their babies really was special. My husband has a heart condition & it just was not a good spot with all issues we were having for him to rest.

We recently came to the Pine Community ourselves. We love the views, the quiet, the feeling of safety, and of course the Elk and Deer. After retirement and leaving our Ranch the slower pace has been a welcome.
