The hot tub and lake access were definitely the highlights of our stay! We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our visit. Communication with the host was easy, and the check-in process was simple and seamless. We would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay at the Up North Retreat cabin. Maybe one of our favorite VRBO stays yet! The cabin is decorated so beautifully and well stocked. We lucked out with the unusually warm autumn weather and had plenty of outdoor time to sit by the lake. Had we known we would have planned an extra day to rent the pontoon boat. They weren’t kidding about the breath-taking sunsets. I must have taken 50 pictures of the sky in the few days we were there. I would love return and experience the other seasons.

Wow, this was a fantastic vacation spot! My kids had the best time here. So many great amenities not listed like propane gas grill, tons of water and yard toys in garage, nice bricked in circle fire pit, 2nd fridge/freezer in garage, walk in closet in master bedroom that can fit a pack n play, tons of towels and extra blankets provided. The lake is gorgeous, and we loved swimming at the island. My kids appreciated warming up in hot tub afterwards. Host was extremely helpful and responsive to all communication. Well stocked grocery store only 10 min away. Definitely a place we want to come back to!

This house is up-north perfection! We had a wonderful week having coffee while watching the loons, playing parents vs kids volleyball, paddling to the island, and the boys LOVED having their own bunkhouse!! Kitchen is well equipped, space is plenty and the sand bottom clear water lake is a gem!! Close to groceries, ice cream and pizza which is a plus! Great communication with the owners. We cant wait to come back!!

Great winter getaway!

We had a fabulous stay! We loved the location close to snowmobile trails and enjoyed the hot tub! Would definitely recommend it and stay there again!

This is a wonderful cottage. The home is well equipped, clean and comfortable. Having kayaks and paddle boards to use as well as a pontoon to rent was really great. The lake is clear and the setting is beautiful! Would love to come back!

Perfect Weekend Getaway !

The property was clean and exactly as described. Included many amenities to keep us busy our entire stay. The hosts were easy to get a hold of and very communicative for an easy check in and check out. Wonderful neighbors as well ! Would absolutely recommend coming here with friends and family anytime !

Absolutely perfect vacation for family! Owners are so responsive and helpful. Jet ski was a big hit! Very clean and beds are super comfortable. Listening to the loons morning and evening was a big highlight.

2nd stay was just as great as first.

Property is everything you would expect an up north, lake life to be. Air conditioning was amazing! Long lake is quiet and not a busy sports lake at all. Loved it. Already planning next summers stay.

4 day weekend

Very enjoyable property, well thought out amenities. We enjoyed the kayaks and the pontoon boat, as well as relaxing at the house. The kitchen has everything and there are plenty of towels. Very nice stay.

Perfect Lakehouse Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay The location on Long Lake is premier Accommodations were excellent the house had everything we needed. The hot tub, sauna and jet ski rental were a hit with the whole family. The hosts are wonderful People, very friendly and helpful with questions about the area. I highly recommend, we will be back in 2023!

Perfect for families

The best spot for the 10 of us to unwind and relax. The kids had a blast jumping off the dock. We didn’t need to leave the house everything we needed was right there. The views were beautiful and the water crystal clear. Thanks so much!!

Great vacation set up!

Everything was great on the trip! The house is just like the pictures show. Hot tub and sauna both are fantastic. Pontoon boat ran perfect. Everything was great! I recommend this property to anyone wanting an up north lake vacation.

Long Weekend Get Away

The house is perfectly positioned on the lake with a tremendous view and lake access. Matt and Liz are perfect hosts and responsive to any inquiries. Everything you could want is at your finger tips; sauna, hot tub, sand volleyball, kayaks, dock, rental pontoon and jet ski available. Perfect Northern Michigan get away.

Enjoyed our family time

Beautiful lake with a new dock right on the water. The kayaks, paddle board, fire pit and volleyball all added to the fun. The jet ski was a hit. The house was very clean and had everything you need.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time at this cottage. The beds were very comfortable in the cottage and in the small cabin. There is not air in The small cabin but we slept fine with the windows open and fan on. We had an issue with the dishwasher dying but Matthew had it replaced the next day. We rented the pontoon and jet ski and had a wonderful time with both.
