Hi Dianna, Thanks for the feedback. Wish we knew what the issue you had is.

Thank you for being a returning guest and for sharing your feedback with us. We’re glad to hear that you found the room clean and pleasant during your stay. We apologize for the inconvenience with the blinds in the master bedroom and appreciate your suggestion regarding room-darkening coverings—we’ll be sure to share this with our team for consideration. We value your loyalty to the resort and look forward to welcoming you back for another enjoyable visit.

Rebecca, so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and yes!!! stay longer next time. We can't wait to have you back.

Kristin, thank you for your review. I do want to say that I am super surprised by this review. This owner has given this condo a head to toe update this year and we thought the difference was night and day from before. I am really puzzled by the outdated bathrooms comment. There isn't much to update in these bathrooms and not sure what you expected to see since the photographs were pretty clear. We do provide starter amenities like a roll of toilet paper, paper towels, can liners in each garbage can and a few dish pods and we make you aware of this in our carefree instructions. These items are provided to get you started but our guests are responsible for the rest of their stay. We will check the pillows and replace if needed and would have been happy to bring you new ones if we had known. We are glad that you enjoyed the resort and hope you find what you are looking for at your next visit.

Michael, thank you for your feedback. We completely understand your frustration with the events that took place during part of your stay. Our bayside office team put messages in all of the elevators ahead of time to make guests aware of the necessary fire alarm testing that took place. We do hate that this interrupted one of your days but there were warnings made to make guests aware so they could make other arrangements. As for the tree trimming, while we understand that our resort staff did not alert us to this plan, we were in constant contact with them to be sure they would keep us posted on their progress so that we could make guests aware and we could encourage guests to use some of the property's other pools that were not affected. We do hate that you were inconvenienced during these dates, but we hope that despite this particular day, you enjoyed the rest of your stay in the beautiful condo.

Thank you for the 5-star review and for choosing Best Beach Getaways. Glad your first experience booking through Vrbo was easier than past stays at Destin West. We hope to welcome you back for another beach getaway. Team BBG

Shawanda, thank you so much for your great review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and can't wait to have you as our guest again soon. Take care.
