Loved everything about this place except the intrusion.
Upon arrival the floors looked clean but quickly turned the bottoms of our feet black. Everything was cleaned good but I think maybe they forgot to mop. We loved this condo. The kitchen was great. They had all the dishes, baking sheets, pans, utensils, etc. we could ever need. We loved the layout, the pools, and the beach access.
With all that being said, one negative thing stood out, and it will more than likely be the reason we do not return. On our 3rd day there we heard a knock at the door. My husband answered the door and a couple was at the door and they had a key already in the door trying to open it. They said they were pest control. They didn’t look professional at all’s they looked like a woman and man dressed for a day at the beach. I contacted Vacasa and they asked if we received a call before hand (we did not) and yes, pest control does come by quarterly. They said it wouldn’t happen again. I understand the need for pest control but also believe we should’ve been made aware before they tried to walk in. If they would’ve came much earlier I was the only one in the unit and in the shower. This to me is just unacceptable. I felt uncomfortable leaving my belongings and even going to sleep at night knowing people could just walk in unannounced.
