Sorry that you had problems finding the house. I sent you detailed instructions with photos, but you drove past the house without apparently recognizing it. We had violent storms before your arrival, and it took weeks to repair the damaged phone line. It took us 2 working days to organize a mobile 4G router. I must also say that you apparently didn’t reach our contact person on the site because you didn’t dial the complete phone number. It was a stormy arrival indeed 😉

Thanks for your comments. while I’m happy about the pro’s, I think I have to comment on the con’s. : * we indeed had a problem with wasps at the start of the season, but it took some time to figure out where they came from. We eventually got a clue from guests that they came from the roof. They were hiding under the tiles. We had the whole roof (150 sqm) treated by a professional end of July. The wasps were then no longer an issue. * the pool and pool area are cleaned twice a week. The tiles are in very good condition. The pool house is a fairly recent construction, but we added antique shutters as an eye catcher. The paint is somewhat peeling, but it’s intentional. It’s a matter of taste. This is an old house and we don’t want it to look brand new or over-renovated. We’ll have some of the shutters re-painted very soon though. * I ordered 4 extra sun beds - they will be there in October. * We changed the Internet provider last year and got a new router (box). Internet can be slow, we are in a rural area. You can check emails and surf on the Internet, but streaming is no fun. I’m considering trying another provider next year.

Merci bien pour les commentaires. Les matelas sont récents, nous les trouvons raisonnablement fermes, je pense que c'est une affaire de goût. Quant au réfrigérateur, c'est un modèle familial avec compartiment congélateur séparé. Nous nous rappellerons votre commentaire, si nous devons le changer.

Die 4 zusätzliche Liegen habe ich kurz nach Ihrer Abreise abgeholt (fairerweise muss ich aber erwähnen, daß Sie für 2 Personen gebucht hatten, und kurz vor Ihrem Aufenthalt 7 Personen angemeldet haben). Wir hatten ein paar sehr kühle Tage vor Ihrer Anreise, die Nächte sind in Mai immer noch sehr kühl, es ist nicht ganz selbstverständlich den großen Pool zu heizen. Sorry. Der Gemeinschaftspool öffnet erst Ende Juni. Das Haus wurde vor Ihrer Anreise gereinigt. Es hätten sich aber keine persönliche Gegenstände/ Seifenstücke im Badezimmer befinden müssen. Wir werden in Zukunft besser darauf achten. Die Internetverbindung ist nicht sehr zuverlässig. Wir sind leider auf dem Land, und meine Nachbarn haben ähnliche Probleme mit verschiedenen Providern. Der Router ist erst 2 Jahre alt und wird vom Provider gestellt. Ich werde beim Provider nachfragen, fürchte aber, ich kann da nicht viel bewegen. Wir haben immerhin einen guten LTE Empfang (Video streaming ist möglich) vom 1. Stock des Hauses. Die (kleinen) Ameisen habe ich erst in Juni gemerkt und Ameisenfalle mit Langzeitwirkung verteilt. In meinen Augen ist es ein ernst zu nehmenden Problem, aber noch keine Plague. Tut mir leid, dass das Haus Ihre Erwartungen nicht ganz erfüllen konnte. Wir hatten etwas Stress vor Ihrer Anreise, weil eine Dusche komplett ausgetauscht musste. Sie waren die ersten Gäste nach der langen Winterpause. Wir müssen sicherlich das Haus nächstes Jahr besser vorbereiten. In Juni konnten wir vieles nachbessern. Diese späte und schlechte Bewertung empfinde ich trotzdem als eher ungerecht, zumal wir einen guten Kontakt hatten.
