Sunburst one of “Three Little Cottages” is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath completely renovated 420 sq. foot cottage located right in the heart of Geneva-on-the-Lake! A 3 minute walk up the street and you’re on the “Strip”. A relaxing getaway with all the basic amenities: appliances, A/C/heat, WiFi, TV and coffee maker. Enjoy Breakwater Beach, Adventure Zone Family Center or catch one of the shuttles to the wineries. Sunburst has two sister cottages Sundance & Coco Blue (property ID 2359370 & 2760957) that can be rented together to accommodate larger families.

Excellent Cottage

This cottage was very clean, nicely decorated, in a great location and the owner was very responsive to any questions I had. I would highly recommend this cottage if you’re looking to stay near the GOTL strip.

Anniversary weekend

The place was exactly as listed. Walking distance to the center of the strip was awesome! No need to rent a golf cart when youre that close to everything. Perfect for a short weekend getaway.

We enjoyed our stay. The listing was very accurate with the pictures, as well as the description. We will definitely book again when we're back in the area. The cottage was clean and well stocked.

Great property!

One of the best places we’ve stayed at Geneva on the Lake. Property is centrally located and just a few minutes walk to the strip! So clean and absolutely beautifully decorated inside. 10/10 would recommend!

Very cute cottage, easily accessible to the strip, and very secure locked doors and windows. Host offered a welcome binder with great information about the strip, places to go, and emergency contact information. Amenities including the kitchen and bathroom were clean with the exception of some dirty bedding in one of the guest rooms.

Great cottage and location!

It's obvious this property has been recently remodeled! It's spotless and incredibly well-decorated. Plenty of room for 3-4 people. Beautiful little cottage in the heart of GOTL but just far enough off the strip to be quiet and private. We stayed in the winter so we basically had the entire street to ourselves, but I would definitely stay here during the summer season. Booking and check-in were smooth, great support from the host.

Weekend Getaway

Sunburst was a very clean and cute little cottage. The location was great and so close to the strip. The only thing it needed was a latter to get to the top bunk. My friend had to give me a boost to get to the top. Lol but that wouldn't stop me from staying again.

Wasn’t worth the price I paid

Not expecting it to be so small for the price and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. Area around the property was sketchy. Again, very disappointed stay for the price.

Lori, the description tells you exactly how big the cottage is “Sunburst one of “Three Little Cottages” is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath completely renovated 420 sq. foot”. Our pricing is in line with other cottages in the area. We’ve never had an issues with previous guests with the beds but you’re entitled to your opinion. Our location is right off the strip so I’m not sure if “sketchy” should be used to describe the strip area but this was your first time to GOTL so maybe the area didn’t meet your expectations.

Convenient Location!

Keli is a wonderful hostess who has the cottage stocked with everything you could possibly need (even though we brought our own because we're not used to so many items being supplied!). She is also a great communicator and easy to reach if you have questions. I'm a bit of a germaphobe and have trouble staying overnight anywhere because most places are never cleaned to my standards. I felt totally comfortable here. We even walked across the floor in our socks, and they didn't get dirty! I will say, however, that thick dust was very visible on the baseboards, blinds/sills, and it didn't look like anyone had vacuumed behind the bed because dust bunnies were thick there. A section of the bathroom wall was also coated from lint blowing from the exhaust fan, and one of the pillow cases had a couple stains (possibly make-up), so we changed that out just in case. We could handle the dust though because everything else was clearly disinfected, and the overall vibe of the place was cozy. The cottage is close to everything you could possible want to do at GOTL. The Strip is only a 2-minute walk. We explored three beaches, wineries, farmer markets, restaurants, covered bridges, and more. The Adventure Zone Family Fun Center is the perfect place to go if you have kids. The neighborhoods look a bit dumpy and properties in the area aren't well-maintained on the outside, but it's likely due to their age and weathering. We never felt unsafe & had a blast! Thank-you!
