Come and enjoy our modern & clean 2B & 2B condo that sits directly on the beautiful Guadalupe River. The Waterwheel condominiums offer a relaxing setting secluded from the busiest roads in New Braunfels, but just a couple minutes to downtown New Braunfels and Schlitterbahn. This condo offers fantastic updates and a beautiful view of the wildlife and picnic areas. Awesome granite counters, deep sink and updated flooring, Smart thermostat and door lock, and wonderfully comfortable beds! Float the Guadalupe River and exit at the Waterwheel location on its private landing! The complex has elevators, 2 heated pools (heated in cooler months), 4 hot tubs, picnic areas with tables and grills and personal keyless access so you can play & not keep up with keys. Don't wait to come see this awesome condo in the heart of New Braunfels.


Property location is only 5 blocks from Schlitterbahn Waterpark, 5 minutes to Historic Gruene for local shopping, winery, Historic Gruene Hall & much more. Other local cities to enjoy with San Marcos' outstanding Outlet Malls just 20 minutes away, San Antonio 6 Flags, SeaWorld, The Riverwalk & the Alamo just 35 minutes away. Austin is just 45 minutes away for loads of History & fun. Hill County visit to Fredericksburg just a short drive.

The condo will fit up to 6, but is most comfortable with 2-4 adults plus kids. Six adults will be very limited on space. The master bed features a king size bed, guest room features a bunkbed with a queen bed on the bottom and twin up top. The living room features a twin size pullout (pulls out from love seat). There is a full size couch, however the bed is not available.

Property has 2 HEATED (in Winter) pool areas each providing 2 separate hot tubs & a beautiful swimming pool! Various areas to cook out with multiple BBQ pits & picnic tables for you to choose from & have a cook out. Parking passes for 2 vehicles. Additional vehicles required to park on property side of street to avoid being towed by property security. No trailers are allowed in the community parking lot but can be parked on the street. Please no cooking on the patios there are BBQ pits & picnic tables available on the grounds. Waterwheel guests are provided with 2 parking passes for your vehicles & up to 6 arm bands for access to all the amenities on the property. These must be used at all times during your stay.

4th annual river trip

The property was exactly as listed, communication with owners when needed was prompt, clean and well kept. We love the Waterwheel condos and this one was great, updated and spacious for our group of 5. We will definitely be back next year!

Great property and location!

Our family of five had a wonderful stay at this condo. We for comfortably in the space, beds were comfy, kitchen had everything we needed and they even provided washing pods and supplies such as that so we didn’t need any of our own. This condo is a short walk to the on site pools and to Schlitterbahn which was a huge help because that was a main attraction of our trip. Owners are very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this property!

Enjoyed our short time at Waterwheel! Condo is as pictured and well stocked. Kitchen has everything you need. Beds were comfy. If you’re coming here to float, take an Uber to the drop off point (or tube company) and exit right at the condo. (Recommend having your own floats to do this) Overall condo and location was great.

Stop Looking! THIS is the place!!

We are residents of New Braunfels but working and living in Mexico. We are always looking for a nice place to stay when we come back to visit our family. We absolutely loved this condo. It is beautifully furnished. The king size bed in the master is super comfortable. We are clean freaks, and this place was cleaned to our standards. The decor was "homey". Great wifi and TV's. This is the first place we have stayed where the kitchen actually had all the extra appliances, cookware, and utensils you need to cook anything. Even a nice Keurig for coffee. We had a great time with family. Very quiet and peaceful place, plus a perfect view towards the river. Seriously, this place has it all, you will not be disappointed renting this condo.

Great location

This was a great property the only issue was the water shut off for a few hours and though it wasn’t the owners fault and there was nothing they could do. It was very inconvenient as we were all wet and cold from the pool and needed to wash clothes. It’s a shame to pay practically $450 a night for something like this to happen. It took about 4 hours before it got turned back on.

Peaceful and Beautiful

This property is tranquil and just what we needed to get away from the city. Coffee on the patio and sitting by the river watching the deer play was wonderful. I look forward to visiting again.

Great condo and location! Be careful with parking.

Love the condo and owners! Parking and towing are a huge issue. Be very mindful of the rules. Security and on-site management will get you towed without mercy.

Family vacation - Retreat on the River

This condo was the perfect location for our family vacation! Went tubing during the day then relaxed at the river a short walk behind the condo. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Very responsive owners who went out of their way to ensure our visit was perfect. Highly recommend and plan on returning.

Our condo provides a relaxing and updated feel to your getaway. Pools, Hot Tubs, and picnic areas with grills and table. We have have a large grass area for the kids to run and play.

What makes this property unique

Our condo is directly on the Guadalupe River. You can catch a shuttle from our complex to Gruene and tube the river and exit right on our condo property. We are close to everything in New Braunfels, Gruene, San Antonio, Canyon Lake, and Austin. Just a short Uber drive away.
