Gorgeous 2nd Tier Lakefront Home with Lakeview, rights, short walk to marina

Welcome to our family Lakehouse! The home has everything you need for a family get away at Lake Wallenpaupack. Lakeview from the porch, hot tub, two fire pits, and short walk to swim and lake access. The house has 4 beds and 4 baths. The master is on the main floor off the kitchen and has a queen bed and lovely bathroom attached. There are two bedrooms upstairs with bunks - each bunk has a full bed on bottom and a twin on the top and one of the rooms has an extra twin. There is a queen bedroom on the bottom floor as well as a full size pull out couch in the main area of the bottom floor. The kitchen is stunning with a very large island for gathering. The deck has clear lakeviews enhanced by clear plexiglass see through railings as well as drop down tarps for a 4 season outdoor area. The jewel of the property is the patio area complete with a decked in 6-8 person hot tub as well as a wood burning firepit and a gas one as well. The home is ring monitored along with wifi controlled entry. There is ample parking for 4-5 cars or space if someone wants to trailer a boat to the lake. The home has A/C and propane heating in addition to some electric baseboard heating for additional comfort. The home sites in Capri Estates part of the Capri Marina which is a short walk down the road. Also only about 200ft from the home is the lake access and community dock for swimming and duck feeding. Plenty of restaurants and stores nearby in Hawley and Honesdale including the fantastic Wallenpaupack Brewery. Big Bear at Masthope only 20min away and Montage Mountain only about 30-40min drive. You will love this home year round as much as we do and we hope to see you enjoy it with your family!

Disclosure: There are two exterior cameras for security - one in the driveway facing the street and another under the deck facing the back entry door. The hot tub is in the coverage area of the back entry camera and should be noticeable.

Towels and Linens: Towels, hand towels, wash clothes as well as linens and blankets provided for main beds. Extra linens for blow up beds or pull out couch need to be provided by renters or requested for additional charge. Hot tub/lake towels are not provided and bath towels cannot be used outside the home.

Great stay

This large property is in a prime location, close to get to the major restaurants yet secluded enough to get the privacy we were looking for. The hot tub was great and the main level master bed & bath was prime. Eric was great with communication and the house had everything we needed from fresh towels, enclosed deck for my dog to roam, and cooking utensils. We would consider staying here for a future trip to lake wallenpaupack

Beautifully Update Home by the lake

This property is beautifully updated with a large outdoor porch/wood deck area partially enclosed in case it rains. We spent alot of time on the porch! The location has easy access to the Lake. The property itself is in a quiet location with no close neighbors. There are many wonderful ammenities including the hot tub, central air conditioning, ample parking.

Excellent Stay

We used this home over the Thanksgiving holiday. Our stay was fantastic. Lots of room, great location and very relaxing. The host was excellent to work with and made the transaction easy. Highly recommend this home for any season. It’s a great place to stay.

Lake Stay

It was a bad week to go to the lake overall, but this house came through. The house was very clean and had nice clean linens (not old ones like many renters typically do). The house is about 10 mins from Claws n Paws, which had a wide array of interesting animals and reptiles. There are multiple options for boat rentals nearby as well. Any issues that were brought up in previous reviews could be overcome with the responsiveness of the owner.

Multi generational family vacation

The lakehouse was lovely and just as described. My teens loved the dartboard and table tennis table and we adults loved the hot tub. Eric was an excellent host responding to all communication quickly. Check in and out I think was easy enough. My dad did it and he said everything went well. Would highly recommend.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a wonderful stay at the lake. The house had everything we needed. The hot tub and ping pong table were a big hit. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions. Having the marina just a short walk away was very convenient. We loved our stay and would love to come back to this property

Beautiful house, but unsettling feeling.

The house and neighborhood was beautiful, but, I could not relax with all the rules and felt as every move we made was watched. It was a very unsettling feeling.

Our new "Go To"

This is the second time I've stayed at Eric & Kristy's home, and it was just as amazing as the first time. Their home is large with many rooms and great space, but still gives that "homey" comfortable feel. The house is immaculate as is the hot tub and the rest of the outside grounds. The view at sunrise and sunset overlooking the lake is beautiful. Eric was always accessible & accommodating with regards to making sure we had anything needed & comfortable. Their home is my new "go-to" place to stay whenever in PA and I highly recommend it!!! Simply an amazing home, wonderful hosts and another great stay!

Thanksgiving getaway

We had an amazing time at this beautiful lake house in the Poconos. The house is everything it appears to be in the online pictures. It’s clean and comfy and up to date. My family and I were instantly pleased when we arrived. The checkin process was simple and the house had all of the amenities we needed. The hot tub was fantastic. Amazing view of the lake from the hot tub, deck and from inside the house too.

Great outdoor space for large groups. Plenty of sleeping room

Spent a lot of time on the deck and patio enjoying the hot tub and fire pit. Close to many activities. Walk to docks and lake. Great communication with owner. Rules list was a little intimidating, but after talking to owner I felt much better about our stay.

Mini Family Reunion

This was our first time visiting Lake Wally, what drew us to this location is we have family in a neighboring development. This house was perfect for our group. The owner was very easy to communicate with and responded promptly when contacted. The house is beautiful, clean, and spacious. Hot tub was great. View of the lake is amazing. Would definitely rent again.

Beautiful home and location; great for families

Beautiful, spacious home with great views of Lake Wallenpaupack. Easy trip down to the lake. The outdoor space was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The host was easy to communicate with during the stay. If you like boating- we rented from Rubber Duckie Boat Rentals and they are great! Definitely recommend this home and Lake Wallenpaupack in general.

Very nice home

The home is beautiful, we had a great week. Very clean, linens provided and lots of wildlife very close by. The bedrooms could use some end tables or somewhere to put your things. A little hard to relax with quite a few rules to follow and a camera watching. There was no dock to swim from , it must not have been put in yet this summer. We still had a good time and thank Eric for our stay.

A weekend getaway

The house was clean, comfortable and well-equipped for our multi-generational family. The outdoor deck space with a view of the lake was wonderful and using the hot tub at the end of the day was an added treat. Eric/owner was very responsive to concerns and questions. Overall it was a very positive experience!

Snowed in at the lake!

Renting this property was such a great experience! The house is so beautiful and so cozy. We hit the grocery store on the way there and stayed in all weekend since it snowed like crazy on Saturday. Eric had the driveway plowed for us so we could get out Sunday morning. Everything was super clean and the view of the lake in the sunrise is indescribable. 12/10 recommend that you stay here!
