Experience a Winter Wonderland in amenity filled The Hideout community

This rental property is the perfect getaway for winter adventures! Community offers a seasonal ski hill perfect for family friendly skiing and tubing. The Ski Hill has one chair lift and two magic carpets for the Bunny Hill and the Tubing Hill. At the rental shop, the Hideout's ski and snowboard technicians are happy to provide you with the equipment that you may temporarily use on the Hill! Rentals include skis or a snowboard, boots, and poles. Helmets are also included. The Ski Hill offers private and group lessons. Reservations for lessons can be made one week in advance. Check out the ski hill brochure included in the photos section of the listing for more details and guest pricing.

Guests are also welcome to enjoy the cozy ski lodge at the base of the hill complete with a fireplace, hot food and drinks. Perfect for taking in the views while staying warm! The Ski Hill Grill is open from 8 am - 2 pm on Wednesday and Thursday. It is also open during Ski Hill operation hours on Friday through Sunday. Dine in or take out breakfast and lunch.

This stunning property features five generously sized bedrooms, offering plenty of room for guests to relax and recharge! With four bathrooms available, everyone can enjoy their own private space to freshen up. Take advantage of complimentary Wi-Fi, multiple large outdoor decks and entertainment level!

As you walk up the inviting staircase into the main level of the home, you'll be greeted by a bright, fully renovated kitchen stocked with everything you need to prepare your favorite meals. Looking to the right, surrounded by windows is the dining area, complete with a table for up to 6 or 7 people. If you need additional seating there are three more chairs set by the kitchen island.

This main level also includes the living room with large Smart TV where you can log in to your Netflix or Hulu accounts! Living room has vaulted ceilings and a beautiful propane fireplace. There are two doors in the living room that open to the deck, where you can BBQ and enjoy the wooded views. There are also two bedrooms and a half bathroom on this level. Main bedroom has a king sized bed has a sliding door for access to the deck as well as an additional private full bathroom!

Going upstairs, you will find a gorgeous walkway overlooking the downstairs living area. Two more large bedrooms with a shared bathroom; designed to provide privacy for each side! Bathroom has double sinks and vanities, with a door to separate toilet and shower area. One bedroom on this level also has a sliding glass door to a second private deck!

The lower walkout level features another inviting living area with a large couch, another Smart TV, card/game table, foosball table, a wet bar, full bathroom and a theater room! Lower level bedroom features a bunk bed and additional twin bed.

With this rental home you also have access to the amenities within The Hideout community including two seasonal outdoor heated swimming pools and beach access, a Tiki bar (pools and outdoor bar will be closed after Labor Day, no lifeguards on duty for lake swimming. Lakes are drawn down October-May), The Recreation building has a golf simulator, gym, arcade room, indoor tennis/pickleball courts. Outside seasonal recreation includes 9-hole golf course, tennis/pickleball courts. shuffleboard court, Basketball Court, Volleyball Court. Some of these amenities may require a small additional fee and/or reservations.

Community has a private restaurant and bar called The Clubhouse.

Member badges needed for entrance or use of any amenity. We have amenity badges in the house for guest usage. All badges must be returned and put back in the home upon checkout. If any badges are missing or lost, a $40 replacement fee for each card will be the responsibility of the primary renter.

Other things to note:
This home is located within a gated community called The Hideout. Registration is required at least 3 days prior to arrival date. Rental Manager will send the registration form within the time allowed to submit. This registration form will ask for primary renters name, age and mailing address as well as names, ages and relationships to the primary renter. This is a community requirement and not within control of the homeowner. Community will impose a $100.00 rush fee if this step is not completed in time. All drivers must stop at the main gate for gate passes. All drivers must show a valid drivers license and valid vehicle registration for entry into community. There are no exceptions. No discounts or refunds will be given if any guest is denied access to the community due to not having these forms upon arrival or refusing to present.

Garbage must be removed from the property by renters periodically and at check out. There is a community trash facility - please see documents at the house for location and hours. Trash is not picked up at the house and cannot be left at the house upon departure. Please do not leave garbage outside of the home at any time as this will invite animals to the property and create a mess. Any garbage left behind after departure that requires removal from cleaning company will result in additional fees to the primary renter. Costs will be associated with the amount of garbage left behind. This includes food and drinks left in any refrigerator / freezer.

Pets are allowed! A maximum of 2 medium sized, well-mannered dogs. Please refrain from allowing dogs on the furniture. If your dog is accustomed to sitting on furniture, please bring blankets to cover the furniture so cleaning is a breeze! Rules apply on dogs in the Community, you must clean up after your dog and they have to be leashed at all times outdoors. Please do not leave any pets outside when you are not in the home!

Starter supplies for paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing soup, hand soap, garbage bags provided. Please plan for any additional needs accordingly. Bed linens, blankets and pillows are provided. Bathroom towels are provided for your use; we kindly ask all guests that laundry by done and all towels be returned cleaned to the areas they are found upon departure. We will provide laundry detergent for all guests and appreciate following this request!

ALL DRIVERS MUST CHECK-IN AT THE MAIN GATE TO GET GATE PASSES AND TO OBTAIN ACCESS.
Drivers license and valid vehicle registration is required for entry along with car make, color and model for security to issue parking pass. Only the people registered in advance will be listed on the reservation and permitted in the gated community. No additional guests allowed.

Parking pass is required for each vehicle entering the community and will be available at community main gate security office at the Hideout entrance upon check in. Parking passes should remain visible on the dashboard of each car for the entire duration of the reservation for entry back into the community, when parking at any amenity and when disposing of garbage at community trash facility.

There is a 25 MPH speed limit, radar enforced. No street parking allowed. Any tickets or fines incurred by anyone staying or visiting at this rental during the reservation period will be the financial responsibility of the primary renter.

The home is equipped with ring cameras outside of the home; facing outside only. No cameras or noise recording devices are inside the house. Blocking or removal of these cameras are against the rules as these are set in place for property protection only.

Primary renter must be minimum 25 years of age. No parties or groups. No unrelated occupants up to 3 persons allowed per association rules. Community Rules and Regulations provided at the house or you can refer to them online at hideoutassoc.com and check the tab for Rentals Rules and Regulations. The community's rules and regulations specify that this home is approved for maximum occupancy of up 14 people and up to 6 cars during any stay.

Please be respectful of the property and neighbors. The Community has its own Public Safety that will enforce speed limits, disturbances and any other violations to the rules. Check the website at hideoutassoc.com for more information about amenities, and rules and regulations. Primary renter will be responsible for any charges for violations during your stay.

No smoking or vaping allowed inside home. Remove associated smoking debris from exterior.

The home was absolutely stunning! It was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, down to the laundry supplies and dish soap. We were able to park our boats in the spacious driveway and visit nearby Lake Wallenpaupack throughout our stay. We will be back next year!

Memorial weekend getaway

The house was extremely clean and very spacious. Monica was very responsive and easy to get in contact with if needed. The amenities inside the hideouts community were great. We went fishing, had fun at the miniature arcade, and had brunch at the hideout club. Great vacation, can't wait to come back!

July 4th stay

The house is beautiful and perfect location.We’ve been coming to the hideout for 30 years and unfortunately no longer have a house of our own here.The added little touches, made this house feel like our home- the little dog toys, the dog bed, the treats. The snacks left for our family and 4th of July plates, etc.The thoughtfulness put into our stay did not go unnoticed. We appreciate everything, and are already booking our next stay!

Perfect stay! The house seems new and is well equipped and beautifully decorated. The 3 stories worked perfectly for our families, providing personal space yet room enough to gather. The game room area was perfect for the kids. They enjoyed the foosball and shuttle board. Plus a popcorn machine!! The hosts provided lots of brand new board games, too. As an added plus, the rental is very close to both of the Hideout beaches. No issue whatsoever signing in at the office to enter the community. We’ve stayed at several Vrbo’s over the years and this was without a doubt our favorite.

We had such an amazing stay at this property! The house was spotless and beautifully maintained, with so much attention to detail in every room. It felt both peaceful and welcoming the moment we arrived. The game room and theater room were definitely highlights—our family had so much fun and made great memories there.Every corner of the house was thoughtfully designed, making it not just a rental but a true home-away-from-home. We especially loved how private the home felt, tucked away in a gated community that gave us such peace of mind. The Hideout staff took their jobs seriously, which made us feel extra safe and well cared for during our stay. The nearby lake was a wonderful bonus—calm, quiet, and not crowded at all, which made it perfect for relaxing family time outdoors. We also visited a local bakery that had amazing baked goods and a farm market!. We truly loved every minute of our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, peace, and a bit of fun all in one place. Our family is already talking about coming back!
