This is a very spacious home with a very down-to-earth feel. The other park guests are all very calm, relaxed, and just love staying so close to the river. There are lawn chairs located in the property that are available for use as well. Bring your favorite fishing equipment or ask for a recommendation if you want to put your fisherman hat on! People have caught some huge fish off of our pier, and it is known by many of the locals as the best fishing spot on the water. Ask us about renting kayaks, boats, or feel free to bring your own. If we can accommodate your request, we will certainly give it our best! At night time, and during the day, feel free to hang out, listen to music, and kick back on the front porch. We think that you'll find being on the water to be one of the most soothing and relaxing places, and that you will have an amazing night's rest!

Loved it

We had a great time while in Texas! The property was clean and inviting. We got to town early and was accommodated with an early check in which was very much appreciated. The host was so nice and checked in during our stay. We had a great time and will definitely be booking again!

The host was very responsive and attentive. The only reason the rating is not 5 starts is because the listing mentioned a dock that was perfect for fishing, one reason we rented the property, but the dock was not usable at all. Everything else was great!

Short stay

The house was very clean and included all basics. The location was not great. Many mosquitoes and overgrown grass. This was probably due to multiple storms in the area prior to our arrival.

Enjoyable

The Host were welcoming. The house was great and I felt safe with my family. I was able to cook full meals with the limited pans. Keep in mind that there is no washer/dryer also the road to get to the property is a gravel road with potholes. Other than that the place was peaceful and quick access to the freeway. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you for providing a place where great memories were made.

Fair at best!

1) Floor appears to have been moped with dirty water. Bare feet & socks dirty after a few steps. 2) Filter for A/C so clogged it would restrict air flow. 3) Pulled back curtain in bedroom to find cobwebs & dead bugs allover window sill. 4) Fire pit was not usable as it was so rusted & falling apart. 5) Faucet in bathroom had little water flow.

Sorry to hear about this now John! We check in with all of our guests multiple times during their stay and we did not receive a single communication back from you. If the unit was not clean, we would gladly have sent the housekeeping back, we could have replaced the firepit, and checked the waterflow in the bathroom. There is nothing here that could not have been resolved with communication. We can't correct issues we are unaware of. Sorry for your inconveniences and hopefully you will be more fair and communicate with the future host any items you have an issue with.

Tranquil stay away from home

The property was amazing for my family trip! The property was clean, peaceful, and the waterfront was beautiful. There were many activities at the property, provided by the host- from family games to swinging on hammocks on the patio to walking on the pier, this place exceeded all our expectations!!! The host was easily accessible, very informative, attentive, and kind, I would highly recommend.

Beautiful location.

Location was beautiful. My grandchildren and I enjoyed the river and board walk. We also enjoyed the foos-ball, porch hammock and giant connect four games. Neighborhood was quiet and secure. Host replied quickly to my questions. I would have liked to receive details on exact address, gate codes and door codes sooner on check in.

For the gate access code and door check in code, those are not generated until 30 minutes before a guest stays to maintain the privacy of the location and prevent unregistered guests from accessing the property. We communicated this in the messages sent prior to your stay, but will work harder to make sure this information is clear for future guests.
