Clifford was a great host and we actually got to meet him when we arrived. The home was exactly as advertised and very clean. We were visiting family for Christmas and the spacious home provided plenty of room for our family. Definitely recommend to anyone looking in this area.

The thermostate kept going to 80 degress, even when we called to have it reduced. It was very hot in the home. We all keep out theromstates at 66-70 degrees. (3 different house holds). The toilet seat in the far halway bath had stripped stripped screws, so the seat was lose.The soap hold in ther main bath in the halway was missing. We made due witth no issues. It was well furnished. The kitchen had everything.

Just what we needed

We came from several households to celebrate a wedding. This house was perfect for each family to have a room, to hang out together, and to save on meal costs. Close, easy access to everything and just what we needed for our stay.

Family Christmas

Had a lot of family coming for Christmas. This house was perfect for them. It was close by and had plenty of room for all of them. It was great for them to be able to host us for dinner several times. The Host was great. Quickly responded to me even though it was Christmas Eve.Great, great time for all!

Absolutely fabulous

Wow. What a place. It has everything. Beautiful design and decor. The kitchen awesome everything you could imagine to cook with. Really enjoyed is was one of the best places we’ve stayed at. Rain in Houston

Very nice property very clean and plenty of room. The games were a bit of a mess people need to put them back as they found them. We just went out and bought a couple of games instead of trying to put them back together the door handle on the back screen needs to be tightened with allen wrench. It was a great stay.

Great home away from home

We went to Atascocita to celebrate Thanksgiving with family in the area. With four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, we had plenty of room for us plus guests. The large kitchen and two dining areas worked out great. We were close to shopping of all sorts. Plus, we discovered the special themed playground at the nearby elementary school. The equipment was adequate for ages into teens. Other schools have different themes. So, if you're traveling with kids, check out the Humble ISD website for more information about these FREE fun places. My adult daughter said this one was the best playground she'd seen in her whole life. My whole family, three generations, recommends this house.

The host was very hard to get in contact with, he wouldn’t respond for sometimes days — which was very apparent when we woke up on Thanksgiving morning so another family that had also booked the house but on a different platform. Thankfully they had family in town, but it was a family of 4 with 4 dogs that suddenly didn’t have a place to stay on Thanksgiving day with a host that didn’t answer any messages about it. There also were strange things about the house that needed to either be told to us or needed maintenance to fix. Like one of the bathroom doors… you needed to turn the handle UP to get out, so one of our members got stuck in the bathroom for a bit before he realized this. The same bathroom, the shower handle was strange. Like when you turn it as far as you could to the left (the normal way you would turn on the shower), the best it would get was a chilly lukewarm. It wasn’t until I tried to turn it off that it went PAST OFF (farther to the right) when it all of the sudden got extremely hot. There was no in between, it was either a little chilly or scalding. The host also didn’t send the Wi-Fi until day 3 of our stay… and then that password was wrong too (we never got the WiFi to work), and there were just strange house rules. One rule was “no leaning on the decorative pillows”. In which case… why have pillows? Criticisms aside, I did very much enjoy my stay. My family and I traveled with ALL of our kitchen supplies for Thanksgiving, and the kitchen was great!

Almost perfect

The property is great, there is plenty of room for a large group and almost everything was perfect. I would not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it. My only points to make would be these: add a couple coffee pods for the Keurig machine, a few bottles of water in the fridge, give guests access to the ac controls so it doesn’t automatically switch back to 78deg 3 times a day. I understand the cost savings of the last one there but once the ac reached the 72 we set it for it stayed there for 2 hours and then reverted back to 78… and this isn’t even the hottest it’s gonna get in Houston. I did reach out about this but the answer regarding it being automatic and tied to the internet wasn’t jiving with me. We adjusted the system throughout the day and night though and remained comfortable. Like I said these are just my thoughts on what would make this a premier location to stay instead of a 4.5 star, which is truly what I would rate it if that was an option but it wasn’t a 4 star stay so I gave it 5. I hope to my comments are taken as intended and please do not hesitate to stay here if you are looking at this property!

The host, Clifford, was very nice and did his best to accommodate; however, he must be under contract with Vrbo Management which was a nightmare! I highly encourage to NOT BOOK THIS LOCATION!! It is false advertising that it is a home away from home when the Management company controls the A/C… it was set at 76 degrees, this house is located in Atascocita, Texas and the average daily temperature during our stay was 82… we were sweating sitting in the house!! Everyone slept terribly uncomfortable… the audacity for them to control and just assume how comfortable someone is supposed to be in the house is just utterly ridiculous. I mean the house is in the United States not a Third World country.! They are so cheap about refusing to let people be at their OWN COMFORT LEVEL so they had an array of box and portable fans( two made unbearable squeaking noise when turned on!)…all of the bathroom sinks did not drain, filled with water just to either wash your hands, brush your teeth. The cleaning crew DID NOT EVEN CLEAN ONE OF THE BATHROOMS, the tub was full of dirt and hair! And the tub in the master bathroom spewed yellow water!! I booked this place more than three months in advance, telling them we had seven people, they had enough bath towels, but only ONE WASHCLOTH, no kitchen towels at all, and 2 garbage bags for our 5 day, 4 night stay. Again, Clifford was sweet, but unprepared for our stay and the Vrbo Management Co. he is with is utterly pathetic and disgraceful! Pam B
