This spacious, newly renovated second floor unit provides unique, breathtaking views of South Pacific with Whale Watching against the backdrop of mesmerizing, romantic sunsets behind Bali’ Hai’ from your front porch.
The rear balcony offers equally spectacular views of Hanalei Bay, with waterfalls gently cascading into the green lush rainforest of the World Famous Napali Coast. Because you are above the tall tree tops, you get the sense that you are in your very own Tree House! It is the perfect place for a romantic Honeymoon, family vacation, or just a special get-away. Literally, across the street, is the perfect location to catch the seasonal whale migration and the big surf of Kauai's famed North Shore. You can take one of three paths to three different beaches, including Hideaway’s Beach, Secret Beach, or the beach at Hanalei Bay at the base of The St. Regis Hotel. All offer safe snorkeling areas where you can enjoy colorful marine life with snorkel gear provided with each studio apartment. Beach chairs and beach towels are also provided to our guests. There is free reserved, permitted off-street parking steps from the front door. There is also free Wi-Fi and land line long distance telephone service to the US Mainland and Canada. There is a wall mounted cable HDTV, DVD player, and CD player.
This unit has recently been completely renovated with the assistance of a professional decorator and designer to give it that genuine old Hawaiian look that is clean and inviting. The 20' ceilings gives a sense of spacious openness typical of traditional Polynesian homes. The unit was just furnished with a brand new, super comfy deep plush King Mattress and high thread count linens for a comfortable night's sleep after exploring the Island. I have also just installed a brand new 15,000 BTU window A/C unit for extra comfort.
The FULL kitchen has also been recently remodeled with all new major appliances, cabinets, granite countertops, deep well sink with a garbage disposal, and other convenient amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals. There is a new stackable washer/dryer behind closed doors.
The bathroom has also been completely modernized with new granite tile, cabinetry, granite countertops, and vessel sink. A hairdryer, iron, and ironing board is also provided.
This unit sleeps up to six guests with a king bed, a queen sleeper sofa, and two twin beds in the loft area which is easily accessible with a newly designed staircase. The unit has a new powerful 15,000 BTU window AC unit as well as two new remote control ceiling fans for those rare warm days.

Side 2 is smaller and perfect for a couple, but sleeps up to 4 guest. It has a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee pot, blender, toaster, and wet bar, including a garbage disposal. Perfect for preparing breakfast and light snacks.
You can rent just one side or both, depending on the number of guest in your party. Side 1 rents for $185.00 per night and Side 2 rents for $165.00 per night, plus applicable tax and a maid service cleaning fee of $95.00. If a guest rents BOTH Sides 1 & 2, I offer a special "Combo" rate of $ 325.00 per night.

It is, by far, the most beautiful, exotic, and romantic place on earth...a place where the landscape seems almost unreal...a place where one can truly find a piece of Heaven, right here on earth.

Great location and amazing scenic views!
This condo was very spacious with modern amenities. It’s close to many activities and within walking distance to a great beach with snorkeling opportunities. There are plenty of excellent dining opportunities nearby as well. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend!
We so enjoyed the studio, very roomy, comfortable and inviting. Despite the rain it was just a very relaxing Easter weekend. Thanks for sharing.
Great Mountain View!
The place was clean and well stocked with boogie boards, snorkeling gear and chairs for the beach. Well stocked kitchen as well. We especially enjoyed having our coffee on the back deck that looks out to the trees and then beyond to the impressive mountains.
Well maintained comfortable and close to great sights
Located on the North side this condo was a great base camp for the trip. Well maintained with all the comforts of home. Host had gear to make snorkeling and beach time easy. Big comfy bed. Reserved parking. Loved it.
Spectacular! Clean, well appointed and in a great location.
Great value! There is so much to do on the North shore of Kauai and this property is the perfect place from which to do it.
pros and cons
We stayed 3 nights and there were pro's and con's
Pro's-- The people who own this property seem very nice. The View from the back deck is amazing!. The location is good and its not too far from things to do. The kitchen and the bathroom have been remodeled and they are beautiful. The washer and dryer works great and they supply plenty of dishes and cookwear. They also provided plenty of towels.
Con's-- We had 5 guests and we wanted the 5th guest to use the hide a bed but there were no sheets or blankets to be found anywhere for him so he just slept on the short couch and he was pretty uncomfortable. The blankets on top of the beds and the couch felt grimy, like they hadn't been washed in awhile. The room at the top with the 2 twin beds was so stuffy. The ladies that slept there were pretty miserable. One set of keys did not work, luckily my husband remember the password to get into the lockbox. And finally the lighting in the bathroom is way to dim.
All in all we had a good time. I just don't think its set up very well for a large group of people.
I have carefully read this guest review, and double checked some of the factual statements before responding. As I suspected, there ARE extra bed linens, sheets, and blankets in the unit. They are located in the drawers in the bathroom closet. As the Owner, I never received a call or email from the guest asking about the whereabouts of the extra linens and blanket for the pull out Queen sofa. Had I received such a call, I could have easily directed them to the storage location.
Moreover, the bed spreads, both on the King Bed and the two Twin beds upstairs are relatively new. Nevertheless, because the comfort of my guest is of paramount importance, I have asked my cleaning lady to wash and, if need be, replace the blankets immediately.
The comment about the loft area being stuffy is probably legitimate. Even though I have a tower fan up there, I always felt that the existing window A/C unit was inadequate to cool the upstairs loft area but, unfortunately, I was limited to the size of the A/C unit at the time (8,000 BTU's) of installation under the then existing HOA Rules & Regs. However, even before I received this Review, I purchased from Home Depot a much larger LG window A/C unit (18,000 BTU's), similar to the one I purchased for my unit next store which is quite cold. It is scheduled to be installed Jan. 22nd, 2018.
As for the bathroom lights being "dim", I am a little confused because the new light fixture is very bright with quality LED lights which, incidentally, are on a dimmer switch. Perhaps the guest did not know the light fixture was on a dimmer. Anyway, I am delighted to hear that, over all, this particular guest had a fun time, and a good experience, at our condo with Epic views and close proximaty to beaches, hiking, shopping, and restaurants.

Hale Moi is in a unique location directly across from The Whale Watching area and the South Pacific ocean with spectacular views of nearby Bali Hai' against the backdrop of the famous Hanalei Bay (home of 'Puff the Magic Dragon'), and only steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches on earth. The North Shore of Kauai is the very reason it's called "The Garden Isle".
Other Activities: kayaking, snorkeling, paddle boarding, boating, parasailing, wildlife viewing, and a nearby health/beauty spa.
Golf: The newly re-designed Makai Golf Course is located just behind the condo and the Princeville Golf course is nearby. The condo is also located just a few steps from the entrance to the newly remodeled St. Regis Hotel (formerly the Princeville Hotel) where you can enjoy fine dining and cocktails at the Bali Hai Bar, St. Regis.
