Central location in the heart of Historic Midtown Galveston, just blocks from the beach and close to restaurants, shopping and attractions like Schlitterbahn, Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens and The Strand. Everything you need for a comfortable vacation is included: private swimming pool, luxury linens and towels, Wifi, flat screen TV with cable TV and DVD player, games and puzzles for the kids, fully equipped kitchen with new stainless appliances, laundry room with washer and dryer, beach towels and chairs, Queen and King beds in the bedrooms plus a full size Murphy bed. When you're tired of the sand and salt and crowds, hang out in the backyard tropical paradise or relax on the porch, or in the air conditioned house.
Charcoal BBQ pit on the pool deck, lounge chairs and ambient lighting at the pool bar. (charcoal & fluid for grill not included although there is often some there.)

La Casita is a wonderful place! It was perfect for our stay in Galveston. The house is cute, and the backyard and pool create a great little oasis. Hunter was very accommodating and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

The host was accommodating. When we pulled up there were 5 sketchy guys talking on sidewalk in middle of day 1/2 block away, The house is very gloomy with all black exterior and black painted bedrooms. Our daughter was afraid to sleep in her room and slpt with us. Pool was very nice. The latin folks next door were quite loud in morning when we sawm. Basically we never felt comfortable. The picture of the pol is the best thing about the house. Sorry won't be back.

We picked this property because of the private secluded pool and it delivered above our expectation! Close to everything that Galveston has to offer would highly recommend…Hunter was a rockstar!

Great vacation

Our stay was great. The host kept in contact with us before and during our stay. Everything was as promised. Check in instructions were simple. The pool was a highlight for our 11, 8 and 5 year old granddaughters.(Pool floats too!)The location could not have been better.... Quite area, but near the beach and town.There was an abundance of bath towels, beach towels, bedding, pillows etc. The kitchen had everything we needed which was nice since we cooked almost all our meals there. Great stay!

The pool was great! The outdoor area was comfortable and relaxing. The house was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 dogs. The host was responsive when we needed something but most everything went great so we really only had to reach once. The area seemed safe. Was close to many amenities. We can't say anything bad about this place. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved this house and yard with pool. Great location and the house had several nice amenities. Seemed very clean. Kitchen was equipped nicely and was well laid out. Good utensils and glasses and plates. We slept in the front bedroom and thought the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was in good shape, well remodeled and since there was just 2 of us, worked just fine to be not overly big. The pool and backyard were super. We stayed in the pool several hours everyday. Pool system kept it very clean. The landscaping was lovely and attracted lots of pretty butterflies. This is a neighborhood with lots of moving around on bikes and walking around. Galveston in general is like this. We had to be very careful when backing out of the narrow driveway because there were often people walking by. We would definitely stay here again!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Lots of fun was had in the pool. Home is conveniently located in Galveston to all the attractions. Total bonus we were able to bring our beloved family dog. Owner responded quickly to messages. We would stay again.

Took a 3 day break with the family. The house has all you need for a short stay. Clean, neat and nice pool.

First time stay very pleased

We have rented other homes in the area and this was yet another great find. My family really enjoyed everything about this place. Near the Seawall and strand, cleanliness was great, they had everything we needed to accommodate our stay. The pool was prefect for our family of 5. The property manager communicated promptly from beginning to end. Will definitely be renting this home again for next summer. Thanks again for such an enjoyable stay!

Quiet getaway from crowds

This was our second stay and again we very much enjoyed it. This is a quiet neighborhood a few blocks from Seawall Boulevard, far enough away to be quiet and uncrowded but an easy drive to the seawall and beaches. Also convenient to the Strand area. Very nice pool and subtropical landscape, and very comfortable inside. Highly recommended.

Awful neighborhood

After seeing a random man walking the street in a hospital gown I attempted to contact the owner, who didn’t respond for hours. As a single female I did not feel safe in the neighborhood . I moved to a hotel. Apparently the owner then re rented the property , but did not offer any refund .

Best time Ever!!

We had a blast swimming in the lovely private heated pool!! Everything was nicely maintained and comfortable! Loved cooking our fresh fish on the gas range and enjoyed eating outside by the pool… all in all we had a wonderful trip!

Great getaway!

This place was great! The owner was extremely responsive, and it’s a very private area. I stayed in January so I would recommend bringing slippers because the floors get cold!!

Casita with big comfort

We celebrated new year with my small family. Beds were comfortable. The heated pool was a must with weather in the 60s. Host was very responsive when we had a question. We will definitely be coming back.
