Nuestra casa "CASA Belavista" bautizados, que significa "casa hermosa vista" significa. Una vista fantástica de la ciudad y el paseo marítimo. La más bella es la terraza en forma de L, cubierto, oculto con bañera de hidromasaje privada.
Dos viejos alrededor de 150 años de antigüedad, construidas de casas de piedra volcánica se han convertido en un nuevo muy luminoso y aireado Gesamtbauwerk,. El área entre las dos casas antiguas es ahora la sala de estar y comedor, las dos casas antiguas se encuentran los dormitorios. El interior de nuestra Casa no deja ningún deseo sin cumplir. El (nuevo, la iluminación indirecta) lleno de luz Wohnsalon tiene una estufa de leña, tiene televisión por Internet, reproductor de CD (con muchas de CD), Blue-Tooth para conectar al teléfono e Internet inalámbrico gratuito. La cocina tiene todos los electrodomésticos modernos (incl. Lavavajillas) equipado y se deja cocinar bien, para asar y hornear. Aquí está una mesa con 6 sillas y un sofá. 2 dormitorios con nuevos colchones de las camas y edredones adecuados (desconocidos en las Azores) pueden ser sueño sano y tranquilo. Un conjunto de ropa de cama y dos toallas por persona por semana incluido en el precio sigue siendo incluidos. El cuarto de baño y ducha integrado es amplio y luminoso con tres ventanas y aireado.

Fantastic Gem

We booked this property for the second half of our visit to Sao Miguel primarily for the ocean view and the jacuzzi. We got so much more than we expected. The property was spotless and well appointed with everything we needed. The hosts provided welcome gift of local treats was very thoughtful. The outdoor space was meticulously cared for and we really enjoyed the private yard. Inside we felt right at home relaxing on the sofa, warmed by the fire. The hosts were inviting and helpful and provided thorough instructions and location recommendations. We look forward to returning to this property in the future.

We will be back !

We arrived at the property (Casa Bella Vista) in December. To no surprise, the promising pictures revealed a superb location, from the terrasse an enormous view to the Atlantic. The house was rebuilt, restored from original stone walls, with intent and the result is quite stunning. We enjoyed the quiet location, of course the spectacular views. The interior of the house is exceptionally well done, -- all amenities, including a fast internet connection is as advertised in great condition. The host, Stefan, a great communicator, with a wealth of knowledge about the island was always available for information regarding our adventures (like hiking) ! Our stay was just too short, -- we need to come back ! Jochen

Tolles Ferienhaus, toller Blick ! Mit Umsicht und Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet und eingerichtet. Sehr nette Vermieter. Die Lage im Osten São Miguels ist ruhiger und ursprünglicher als im Westen mit Ponta Delgada. Uns hat es gut gefallen, nach Wanderungen/Ausflügen wieder noch Nordeste zu fahren. Dadurch ist man etwas mehr mit dem Mietwagen unterwegs aber kein Problem. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Perfekt für zwei, wenn man Ruhe sucht

Sehr schönes Haus. Am besten gefiel mir die große überdachte Terrasse mit Blick zum Berg und auf den Atlantik. Nordeste ist eine noch recht ursprüngliche Ecke auf der Insel.

Ein ganz besonderer Urlaub

Trotz aller Umstände hatten wir uns entschieden, unseren Urlaub auf den Azoren zu verbringen. Und wie sich herausstellte war das eine unserer besten Entscheidungen. Ein tolles Ferienhaus in toller Lage. Ein Ausblick dem man noch eine Weile hinterher trauern wird. Dazu schier unendliche Möglichkeiten, den Tag zu gestalten. Wir können sowohl die Azoren als auch das Ferienhaus absolut empfehlen.

The house is located on the most beautiful spot on the island.

We had a great time at the house. The view is amazing and the bath outside is really great. The house has got everything. The only thing we didn't like was the cold. It is hard to warm the house. We bought some thermo clothes and we went twice to the Aki shop in Ponta Delgada to buy some wood. You really need to keep the fireplace going. The bathroom is also beautiful but very damp. So the house stays quite humid because of this (eventhough we kept the windows open). All together we had a pleasant stay and when the sun comes out it is very nice to sit outside and enjoy the sun and the beautiful view.

The house is not humid. It has a big fireplace with unlimited firewood free of charge, Further more electric heating panels in all rooms, again with unlimited electricity free of charge. We use the fireplace in the wintertime from 17:00 - 21:00 a clock and wear t-shirts inside the house, because it is to warm to wear a jumper. On other booking platforms the house has up to 50 ratings and not one single guest wrote that the house is cold or humid. So if you use the fireplace (in the right way) you will have one of the warmest and most dry houses on the Azores.

Tolles Haus, super schöne Insel!

Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt in diesem tollen Haus! Das Haus ist wirklich mit allem ausgestattet, inklusive leckerem Willkommensgruß mit dem man den ersten Abend/Morgen sehr gut über die Runden kommt. Das Haus ist um einiges größer als es auf den Fotos den Anschein erweckt. Super ruhige Umgebung ganz im Osten der Insel, perfekt zum runter kommen. Sehr unkomplizierter und schneller Support von Hauskeeper Ricardo falls mal etwas fehlt! Danke für eine schöne Zeit! :-)

Absolutely stunning

This spacious property has been beautifully transformed into a luxury holiday accommodation option on Sao Miguel and is stunning. Stefan has thought of everything you could possibly want. Very high specifications on all the furniture and appliances, plenty of equipment to cater for yourself with, spotlessly clean and a delightful welcome tray of local produce for your first night. Explicit instructions on how to use everything from the internet enabled TV to the amazing jacuzzi. We used it every day and when the gas ran out Ricardo, local contact, was round within half an hour to sort it. We travelled all over the island and Nordeste is delightful - we will be back and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. Make sure you visit the waterfall at Faial da Terra - just one of the local things to do as recommended by Stefan. Truly an idyllic hideaway run by a real superhost. Well equipped house in secluded location with great views

TL;DR - Nice house. I would stay here again. My family spent eight days at this house, long enough to use pretty much every appliance more than once. We found the entire house, including beds, bathroom, kitchen, all appliances, dishes, utensils, and pans to be clean and ready for use. We brought groceries with us from one of the large stores in Ponta Delgada and found the refrigerator working as expected when we arrived. The house was clean and there was a small gift basket of local wine, tea, jam, butter, and milk. After putting away our groceries, we were pleasantly surprised to find a variety of dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. We put the electric stove and oven to use preparing a meal the evening of our arrival. Everything works as expected and was easy to use. The living area has a modest HD TV and sound system that connects to your phone with bluetooth for streaming audio. The TV has an android TV box connected to the sole HDMI port, though this can easily be switched out with a Chromecast or other personal streaming device for streaming video. The TV also has a USB port to power most streaming devices. Wifi is available at the house and works throughout the house. Note that streaming from some US based services may require a VPN. The bathroom is large but only accessible through the master bedroom. It has everything you would expect including very hot water and great water pressure. A reasonable assortment of clean towels were placed in the bathroom. The bedrooms each have two beds. The smaller bedroom has two twin sized beds while the larger bedroom has two beds that are a rough approximation of queen sized. As we were visiting in the winter (though, at ~60 F days and ~50 F nights, it's not exactly cold), we found the wall mounted space heaters helpful. On a truly cold night, they likely would not be enough, but the lowest temp we experienced was 48 F, so they were adequate. The beds are all very firm. The hot tub is outside of the kitchen under a covered patio. It is very secluded and private. After a quick rinse of the hot tub, it was ready to go. Filling the hot tub takes just under an hour. It appears to be relatively new. All air jets and lights work as expected, and made for a pleasant soak after a long day.

Wunderschön gelegen, gut ausgestattet

Wir hatten zwei wunderschöne Wochen in der Unterkunft von Andreas und Stefan. Wir waren mit zwei Paaren dort. Das Häuschen ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet (allerdings gibt es nur einen Zugang zum Bad, der durch das eine Schlafzimmer führt - das war uns nicht ganz klar, aber auch nicht weiter problematisch ;)). Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist einmalig!

Great location to just, get away and enjoy the island life.

Bella Vista home has a wonderful ocean view with tremendous beauty all around. Located about an hour and half from the airport, but only a few minutes from the closest village, the home has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The home itself is beautifully crafted with plenty of enjoyable space inside and out. Inside the home, there is a picture of the original structures that now make up the bedrooms of the home, which really show how much thought has been put into rebuilding and remodeling the structures to fit a modern and comfortable lifestyle. Outside, the home has a beautiful Veranda with a outdoor kitchen and hot tub, which we used in the dept of the Azorian winter. The hot tube took a long time to fill, but once full, we enjoyed it the whole trip. The Property Manager, Sonny was very helpful upon arrival, walking us through the features of the home upon arrival, made sure we had all the wood we needed, and was easy contacted when we needed ran out of gas. Sonny made us feel very welcomed, and we enjoyed our local edible welcome gifts to the last drop and morsel. Highly recommend the hiking trails near by and do stop by the viewpoints along the expressway. Overall, we had a great time in the Azores, and a highly recommend staying at Stefan's place when visiting, I know we will be back.
