QUINTA DAS CYCAS is in a stunning property from the 19th century, in Algarvia, Nordeste municipality. The main house and its agricultural annexes have been converted into four charming lodging units with breathtaking sea and mountain views. Besides having one of the best sunsets of the island, this 5300m2 property offers beautiful gardens and orchards, a lovely infinite pool, a croquet court, a pergola, and contemplation areas that will awaken all your senses.
Private car park with electric gate and a laundry with wash machine and dryer are also available.
One of the outbuildings is O Granel, a nouveau rustic house, filled with romantic
details and a balcony with view to the infinite blue ocean stretching to the horizon. This villa has one bedroom, a living area with wood burning heating system and a full equipped kitchenette, and 1 bathroom. It offers also a private outdoor space with furniture and a barbecue grill.
At the arrival a welcome basket is provided which includes a delicious selection of local produce including bread and homemade jams, milk, coffee, tea, fruit, eggs, butter, cheese, yogurts and basic grocery items.
Also provided are robes and slippers, toiletries, complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV, DVD player, Hi-Fi, a small library, indoor games, and bicycles.
Designed and prepared for the guests to plan their vacations with no effort whatsoever, Tradiguide is a virtual activity guide that will provide the best tips and suggestions to move around and make the most of your time in Sao Miguel Island. At the check-in, login access and user instructions will be provided to have access to this guide during the entire stay.

As the house, located in Nordeste district, Sao Miguel island, Azores, was being rebuilt, we actively tried to maintain its architecture, restoring the original structure by using traditional materials and techniques. In addition, some new elements were added aiming to improve the living conditions. These new elements are characterized by aesthetically contemporary options.
The surrounding plots of land have been turned into gardens, where the peace and quiet of the countryside can be enjoyed. In the gardens, a wide range of ornamental plants can be observed. Some of these plants are endemic and some are fruit trees commonly seen in the backyards of Azorean rural stone houses.
For the interior decoration, we used restored traditional Azorean antique furniture together with contemporary objects, in order to obtain high levels of authenticity and comfort.
Our cottage offers you a range of leisure equipment that you can use inside or outside at no additional cost.
