## Space

We are delighted to welcome you to Gisèle's home. This charming town house is located in Bihorel, a stone's throw from the market square; the ideal location for shopping (greengrocer, butcher, baker, florist, etc.) in a peaceful setting. You can park your car on the street, free of charge.

Go through the gate and you'll be greeted by a small, pleasant, well-kept garden. From the moment you enter the house, you will feel a warm, authentic charm. The outside walls are a reminder of the history of this peaceful area, while a few plants add a touch of greenery to the house. The house comprises a kitchen opening onto the living room, a shower room, two bedrooms and a separate WC. There is a small garden shed for storing equipment.

The lounge is welcoming with its sofa, decorative fireplace, coffee table and television. The living room opens onto an open-plan kitchen, where the dining area with its tabla and seating invites conviviality. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes everything you need to prepare tasty dishes using produce bought in the village square or from the supermarket just 5 minutes away by car. There is an oven, small dishwasher, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine. All the crockery is provided to make long stays easier! You'll even find crockery for children.

The shower room has a washing machine, a period bidet, a washbasin unit and a shower. The WC is separate.

The two bedrooms have double beds for a cosy night's sleep and storage space for your personal belongings.

In fine weather, you can relax in the small garden! For smokers, this space will allow you to enjoy moments of relaxation without disturbing anyone!

A very affectionate little cat may come and visit you in the garden.

Note that the owners of this charming house are nearby to ensure the well-being of travellers and the tranquillity of the neighbourhood.

Bed linen and towels are provided for your comfort.
No private parking is available with the accommodation. However, you can park your vehicle easily and free of charge in the streets surrounding the accommodation. The accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, which is available 7 days a week from 10:00 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 21:00. We thank you for taking care of the accommodation, respecting the premises and the neighbours. A bank imprint will be requested via a secure link in order to finalise your reservation and obtain the access codes to the accommodation.

## Neighborhood

Bihorel is a commune in Normandy, near Rouen, in the Seine-Maritime département. It is part of the Rouen Normandy metropolitan area and is characterised by its friendly atmosphere and local heritage, which attracts residents and visitors alike. Bihorel is renowned for being a residential and family-friendly area, combining the charm of traditional houses with its proximity to Rouen. This proximity is such that certain areas of Bihorel are often considered to be part of the Rouen conurbation. This means that the commune is very well connected to Rouen by roads and public transport, making access to the city's amenities and infrastructure very easy for its residents.

The Place du Marché is one of the central places in Bihorellais life. It's a place where residents meet up regularly, particularly at the weekly market. The market is held twice a week, on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, and attracts many local traders as well as visitors from the surrounding area. The market offers a wide range of local produce, including fresh fruit and vegetables, meats, cheeses, fish and many other Normandy specialities.

As well as its fresh produce stalls, the Place du Marché is also a convivial place where you can meet producers and craftspeople, chat and share a moment about local traditions. The square itself is equipped to host these events and is lined with local shops, making it a magnet for local residents.

The Place du Marché in Bihorel has a certain architectural charm, often typical of the Normandy region. The buildings that surround it mix old and modern styles, creating a pleasant setting. Half-timbered houses, typical of the Normandy region, can be seen in certain parts of the area and add a picturesque touch to the atmosphere.

As well as the market, the square also hosts other events throughout the year, such as fairs and local festivals, which reinforce Bihorel's identity as an active and lively place to live.

The Hippodrome de Bihorel is a horse-racing facility located in the commune of Bihorel in Normandy, in the Seine-Maritime département to be precise. This racecourse is known for hosting trotting races and sometimes other regional equestrian events. Its pleasant setting is often appreciated for its proximity to the surrounding forest and green countryside, typical of the Normandy region. The park adjoining the racecourse is a great place for children to relax and play.

## Transit

Bois-Guillaume is well served by the public transport network Astuce, which covers the Rouen metropolitan area. Here are the main public transport options available to Bois-Guillaume residents:

Bus :
Line F2 (Fastobus): This is a fast bus service linking Bois-Guillaume to the centre of Rouen via major routes. It provides rapid access to Rouen's central districts, including the SNCF station and the Théâtre des Arts.

Line 11: This line runs through Bois-Guillaume and serves several parts of the town before heading for Rouen. It provides access to various points in the town and to neighbouring communes.

Route 40: This is another bus route linking Bois-Guillaume to Rouen and other communes in the north of the Rouen conurbation. It is ideal for those wishing to travel between different districts.

Line 5: This line also passes through Bois-Guillaume and provides access to Rouen, particularly to the eastern districts of the town.

TEOR (Transport Est-Ouest Rouennais):
Although TEOR does not serve Bois-Guillaume directly, some stations are accessible nearby, particularly on the way down to Rouen. TEOR's T1, T2 and T3 lines are high-frequency high-service bus routes. They enable you to cross Rouen quickly and reach various points in the city.

Proximity to Rouen :
Bois-Guillaume residents can easily reach Rouen by bus, and then take advantage of other means of public transport, such as the Rouen metro or intra-urban bus routes to get around the town.

Getting to Rouen station:
Rouen Rive Droite station is accessible via bus routes that pass through Bois-Guillaume. This station provides access to rail services to Paris, Le Havre and Caen.

Cycling and more :
Bois-Guillaume is also equipped with cycle paths, enabling residents to use bicycles to travel to Rouen and other surrounding towns. Rouen's Cy'clic self-service bicycle network is also an option for those who like to use environmentally-friendly means of transport.

## Notes

Arrivals are autonomous for greater flexibility. They start at 4pm and depart no later than 11am.

The accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week (from 10am to 9pm). In the house, all our guests receive household linen, basic necessities for the first day (shampoo, shower gel, hand gel, toilet paper, etc.) as well as a large towel per person, together with tea towels and a bath mat per bathroom. A welcome kit with kitchen bin bag, bathroom bin bag, sponge and dishwasher liquid is provided free of charge on arrival for the duration of the stay.

We are committed to providing a pleasant experience, however, please note that we are not a hotel service. Any mid-stay cleaning, linen/towel freshening, replenishment of essentials or deliveries can be arranged on request at an additional cost.
