The cottage sleeps six with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. In the middle of the cottage is the great room with an open floor plan and high ceilings. This large communal space connects the kitchen to the dining and living area that opens to the outside deck where you can enjoy the beautiful tree canopy, bird song and horses grazing in the background. The atmosphere is relaxed and secluded yet you are only minutes away from downtown Aiken and Aiken’s Horse Park and polo fields.
During your stay you will have access to all modern amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped with brand new appliances. Laundry facilities are in a built-in closet by the kitchen. The cottage has beautiful cedar hardwood floors throughout. Get cozy with an electric fireplace in the living room, a fire pit outside and wood burning stove in the master bedroom.

The Black Sheep Cottage is perfect for equine travelers and for those looking for a unique stay. Convenient location to most Equestrian events. Bruce's Field is only a 5 min commute. Stable View is an 18 min commute.
Rates DO NOT include use of paddock and run-in sheds. For Paddock and Equestrian booking please contact host for fees and requirements. For equine booking please contact host. There is an added cost and rules for horses. Horses will enjoy a paddock and a horse run in shed with turnout during their stay.
EQUINE TRAVELERS:
* Message me if you would like to bring your horse.
* Each horse must provide their Vet paperwork and Coggins Test.
* $30/night for a horse (Includes a paddock and run-in shed).
* Property has a paddock and a run-in shed, plus a shady run-in for the hot summer
months.
* Equine travelers must provide their own feed.
* Must clean your own stall/paddock daily and return it to its original
condition.
* Wheelbarrow and pitchfork provided.
* Manure must go in the designated container behind the shed.
* $100 manure pickup fee or take it with you.
