Quiet neighborhood. Great area for walking and biking. Fenced in yard was great for the dog. Home was clean and comfortable. Friendly owners.

Stay in Big Pine Key

My husband and I had a great stay in Big Pine Key. The home was even better than shown in pictures with a very large kitchen and a nice bright sunroom in the back which is the room we used the most. The landscaping on the property was beautiful. The key deer were always around the neighborhood and we saw them every day which was awesome. It was a great area for bike riding and found a nice area only a few miles away in Port Pine Heights to watch the sunset over the gulf. The sunsets were amazing!! Would highly recommend this property if you want a quiet relaxing stay but close enough to Key West if you want more activity and nightlife. Bahia Honda state park was beautiful and the best beach area near Big Pine.

House and property nicely remodeled. Bedroom needs a chest of drawers for undies and such.

Not much to do on Big Pine island. The property was nice. Bug guy came as soon as requested. Was expecting beach nearby. Non. Finally VRBO fees too much.

Very enjoyable and relaxing

This property is very well maintained by the attentive and friendly owner who travelled from Miami to stay in the next property on weekends. The property has beautiful decor with thoughtful provision of supplies. The fully fenced and secured yard is ideal for our dog who could only bark at the Key Deers outside. Interesting variety of fruit trees and flowers inside and outside the yard. The owner treated us with samples of tree-riped fruits. Convenient to shopping. Good choice of walking paths within this area that includes the Key Deer Wildlife Refuge. Close proximity to the excellent Bahia Honda Provincial Park with its nice beaches is a great feature. If improvement can be made to this property, it would be the addition of cable TV programming to the existing Roku TV streaming. Overall, excellent place to stay and relax.

The area gives you a sense of community, small town feel. There are great little hangouts like No name Pub, Coconuts, and Boondocks.
