We loved this house, very clean, good sized rooms, wonderful terrace with lots of flowers, and a two minute walk to the beach. The welcome basket was VERY welcome! The owner came round several times with gifts of melon and grapes. The nearest taverna is pretty much next door, but you have to drive to the supermarket or mini-market in Soroni. A short drive away is a great taverna, The Sea House. Wonderful at sunset. We often had the beach to ourselves. The water was ridiculously warm, though this is the windier side of the island so the sea was rough at times. We had them to be content with wallowing o the shallows. The only nicer swimming we found was at lovely Stegna- we really recommend you go there. It’s a lovely quiet resort. The Gorgona restaurant there is great, as it comes with excellent food, free parking, sun beds for ten euros and the quietest part of the beach. The taverna at the Seven Springs was great too

The house was really nice and well appointed and the garden was lovely with lemon orange and grapefruit trees The surrounding area was very pretty with rocky hills at the side. We could watch the sunrise from the main bedroom or sit outside on nice comfortable chairs on the terrace. Gioyla was available by phone if we needed anything and left us some milk bread butter etc which was useful as we arrived during the evening. The village had 3 tavernas and a mini market which was very handy This was truly a lovely property and we would not hesitate to visit again

We had a wonderful time at Villa Eleonas. The villa was very clean, spacious and well-equipped. The pool was a good size and the delightful garden was perfect to relax in. It is situated on a road but it wasn't very busy and there was negligible traffic noise. There are numerous nice beaches and good restaurants within 10 minutes drive. Aleka was an attentive and helpful host- even dropping off some delicious local delicacies for us. Would highly recommend. Thank you Aleka!

This was our first visit to Rhodes and we had a wonderful holiday all thanks to Yiannis who was an incredible host. He stocked our fridge simply because he wanted to. His mum cooked a delicious meal of stuffed tomatoes and peppers and courgette flowers. It was very welcome as we arrived on Saturday night at 22:00 and the supermarkets are all closed on Sunday. So we didn’t have to worry about getting food. The villa is exactly as per the photos and Yiannis made sure we had everything we needed. Everything in the villa was first class quality. He even supplied coffee tea spices he called around through the week to make sure everything was ok and brought a bowl of ripe figs and cucumbers from his mums garden. He also sent us a text with restaurant suggestions and places to visit. If you book this villa you will not be disappointed. The nearest beach is easily a short bike ride and of course there are bikes supplied as well. I hope we will be back soon we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Villa Acacia. Thank you Yiannis.

We are in our 50s, beaches and night clubs are not our priority, rather we wanted a base from which to explore Rhodes by car for 10 days, and were looking for one in a Greek village rather than a tourist hot spot. For us, this apartment is perfect, located in the back streets of Psintos with a balcony view over the rolling hills and the sea is in the distance. We can walk to the village square with mini markets and several tavernas, and a couple of tavernas on roads radiating from the village. I think we have managed to hire this apartment and a small car for less than we would have paid for a much smaller room close to those hot spots and that suits us better. The apartment has only just been done up, so it looks brand new. For the Brits it has a proper kettle and a full sized cooker with an oven (yes I know we should be outside using a BBQ but there was Sunday lunch to cook). It has a washing machine and a big shower with loads of hot water. It is big when compared to many and the space has been appreciated. The main bedroom has a big double bed, and there are two day beds in the open kitchen/lounge that would make perfectly good beds for sleeping. They perhaps look a bit odd in the photos, but have proved comfortable for lounging during the day, so whilst the space is very generous for 2 we think it would work 4. WiFi is very fast, and the internet connected TV did allow us to watch Netflix once we had worked out enough Greek to log on, not that we watched much with so much else to do. From here we have driven round most of the island visiting ruins, beaches, hills, wineries, forests and so on, there aren’t many roads we haven’t tried. We combined this stay with 4 days inside the ancient walls of Rhodes old town which were very interesting (didn’t see much outside the walls as again it’s not our thing), and we have had a very relaxing time. Michaela is very welcoming and cannot do enough to make your stay a good one. For those that do want to drive to beaches during the day, it’s only about 15 minutes to the closest and somewhere like Anthony Quinn bay is less than half an hour. You can choose quiet bays or ones with water sports and boat trips within striking distance, and still retreat to tranquility for the evening, but this is much easier with a car.
