This new amazing elegant cottage with spectacular garden views on a spacious lot with mature trees and fresh air across the street from the white sand Beach! Most secured place in Nassau, Bahamas. Next to US Embassy with 24/7 Man security every 30 minutes. Open and airy living and dining area with a huge sun room. Complete with the modern amenities such as washer/dryer that make for a comfortable and convenient vacation. A secure location near the British Colonial Hilton Hotel and Margaritaville Resort. We are close to all the major attractions this little island has to offer. 5 Minutes walk from Junkanoo Beach, Margaritaville Resort and bar, the 10 million dollar cruise ship port, McDonald's, Dunkin Donuts, and downtown. Wine/Rum tasting 3 min walk. Fish Fry is a must at Junkanoo Beach for all the delicious island food. Free gated parking. Enjoy a quick ride across to Paradise Island home to the amazing Atlantis resort. Take a walk downtown to shop and explore the craft market.

Comfortable and cozy

We enjoyed our stay. We were close to The Embassy and walking distance near most of the major attractions. Cameron was excellent in answering any questions we had.

The House is Good, The Owner is Very Nice.

The house is close to the beach and restaurants. We rented a car with Hertz, it is just a few steps from the house. Our questions to the owner were always responded quickly.

Island cottage, even better than we expected

Our stay was amazing, comfortable and felt very safe. The wood floors and clean rooms were such a pleasant surprise. There was a special cosy feeling throughout our stay . Thankyou.for having us, we will definitely return.

We stayed for a weekend and will say the home has a good location downtown and very secure as it resides inside the gate of US Embassy. Very comfortable for two to four people.

Incredible Location! Next door to the US Embassy and Walkable to beaches and downtown attractions

Great location and value! Perfect 5 stars for staying in the Bahamas outside of a resort setting. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that we ran out of Keurig pods on day 1 and the hot water in the shower only gets kind of warm.

Great cottage near downtown

Beautiful home safely tucked behind the embassy gates. Within walking distance to everything - beach, Christ Church, Pirates Museum, Bay Street and more. Cameron was wonderful and the check in/out process couldn’t be better.

Cameron was an excellent communicator! Very responsive. Close to restaurants, shops and the beach. Here on business and very close to the government buildings I needed to visit.

Tropical Oasis

Couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay at this home with our friends. Quick walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. The front patio was a perfect retreat in the evening when we wanted a break from the action. Rooms were spacious and there were ample towels for the beach. You won’t regret staying here.

We had an amazing time!

The property was perfect for us. Great location - close to all the restos and shopping in downtown nassau as well as a few min walk to Junkanoo beach. Going to further beaches is also easy as we can easily get the bus. It’s located next to US embassy and very secure. We also enjoyed the included daily passes to Goldwynn resort. Our kids love the heated pool there! Host is always responsive whenever we have questions and shares tips for nassau. Definitely recommend!

Extreme secure

Close to everything downtown Nassau and right next to the US Embassy so the security detail out front on a dead end road made it extra secure. The parking pad was ample with a wide gate which made coming and going with our rental car a breeze. We loved the house and ease of cooking at home some nights. Easy walk to Junkanoo beach (public access) and take out from the tiki bikini hut on the beach (or dine in with a view).

Great location in quiet neighborhood

Our stay in this two bedroom home was a perfect launchpad for our Bahamas vacation. It was an easy walk to everything we enjoyed - the Cricket Club, Fish Fry, beach, shopping, and restaurants. The house had a/c, light-blocking shades, and comfortable beds for a good night's sleep. Having a kitchen and laundry was a big plus. We felt very safe with the location next to the US embassy - the guards were very friendly as well. The owner referred us to Clement Stanley with Bahamas Private Transportation which made everything about this stay fun and easy. Communication with the owner via text or WhatsApp was efficient. I would certainly recommend staying here.

Nassau Stay

My stay in Nassau at Cameron's home was absolutely amazing. This home is very cute, comfortable and quaint. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms had lots of towels, and the kitchen was adequately stocked - even had a Keurig. I felt extremely safe being that it was right next door to the US Embassy. Its location is a hidden jewel right in downtown Nassau with restaurants, clubs, and entertainment in walking distance. Margaritaville is literally a 3 minute walk away. Cameron was kind enough to leave wrist bands to enter a near by resort but we spent most of our time at an awesome spot on the beach called Glamp and Chill which was walking distance from the Da Fish Fry. Cameron even recommended an awesome driver (Clement) who picked us up from the airport in a luxury SUV and give us a brief Nassau tour with a history lesson while en route to our weekend stay. I would definitely recommend this home for your trip to Nassau. And I will also recommend that you check out the beautiful beach spot Glamp and Chill!!

Tranquillity in the middle of a bustling port town

The property was a slice of paradise in paradise. A lush palm filled private garden provides plenty of shade and relaxation just meters away from a bustling city street and the US Embassy. A quick walk to the beach, beach bars, and tourist restaurants. For the more adventurous, there are ample opportunities to explore. The house is in a prime location, close to forts, museums (pirates, art, culture, and history), a distillery (Watling's), and fancy restaurants (Cafe Matisse). The house is also close to a car rental agency (the rental agency will also provide a child seat!) and a grocery store with all the necessities. If you do rent a car don't miss the chance to explore the island and in particular the Clifton Heritage National Park. If you are clever, you will skip the sunburned, overpriced, faux atmosphere of Paradise Island (ne Hog Island) and opt for a more local, albeit luxurious experience and stay in Nassau! You can always make a day trip if you want expensive nachos served to bratty tourists. If you stay in Nassau, then there is no better spot than here. Equally perfect for a family (we have a toddler), a romantic getaway, or even for outgoing adventurers.

Ask about amenities before booking

This little cottage is located just a block from all the taxis and close to the cruise ships and tourist shops. Quick responses from owner. Things to know before you book: Pool and fitness area are not nearby. Owner will lend you his bracelets for entry into Goldwynn resort a few miles ($20 taxi ride each way) away. Not sure it’s legal so we had to fib our way thru when asked. There is no hot tub. Beds are very soft. Guest room slightly firmer. Blow up mattress also available with plenty of sheets and blankets. Showers did not get hot - just barely lukewarm. House is tucked back on a road behind the US Embassy. There is no view of anything as listed. Seating and covered bench swing in the front yard. Seemed really secure since you had to pass thru a security gate at the embassy to get to the house. Brand new a/c unit in the guest bedroom. Other two in master and in seating area are really dirty and maybe mold covered so we turned them off. Owner is aware and said he’d have them taken care of but check with him first! Suggest renting a car if you will be there more than a day or two and want to see other beaches other than Junkanoo (walking distance) Beach. Taxi rides to Fish Fry (Restaurant row) are $16-20 each way, depending on the driver. Lucaya car rentals are reasonable and they delivered the car. Bring Keurig pods- grocery isn’t very close. Washer and dryer worked great. Cameron was quick to answer questions and very friendly.
