Top Notch, A1, 5 Stars Worthy!

  • 5 of 5

College roomies reunion in LI wine country. Beautiful, CLEAN, spacious accommodations just 5 mins from the beach and close to several vineyards. Beautiful gardens and a very friendly kitty to greet you. Our hosts did a wonderful job of making us feel at home, and as other visitors have reported were non intrusive but very responsive as needed. The welcome treats were enjoyed by all, thank you. We were able to bring meals to prepare in the property and found the amenities provided to be perfect. I would recommend this property without any hesitation as you will not be disappointed, I promise! Dierdre M.

Very up-to-date and clean in-law apartment. Two bedrooms - sleeps 4 comfortably.

Quiet neighborhood - there's a beach within a 5 minute walk. Shopping is a 5 minute drive away.

We have stayed at this property is exactly what we like!

Owners are very friendly and are not intrusive. But they do respond quickly to any request.

Would we stay here again? Absolutely yes!

Great place near a beautiful, uncrowded beach

  • 5 of 5

Manny and Amal made sure we had everything we needed. While we had plenty of privacy, they're just upstairs and can answer any questions. Amal's homemade welcome cookies were ridiculously good, and her gorgeous flower-filled yard was perfect for my son to explore. Manny provides free beach access to a gorgeous stretch of beach on the sound - which we had nearly completely to ourselves. Really an awesome, quiet place to bring kids. And so close to wineries to boot.

Great Hospitality

  • 4 of 5

The owners are extremely nice and hospitable. The property was clean, comfortable and well kept, and the location is perfect for getting out among various destinations along the North Fork (and even getting to the South Fork if you are willing to drive a bit). The only downside was that we had planned to cook one evening using some of the local produce and items from the farm and fish markets, and the kitchen was a bit lacking in that it didn't have a true oven and had only a 2 burner stovetop with small pots and skillets. We made it work though, because the owners do provide a grill. And I wasn't aware that the owners lived on-site before arriving. The owners are very gracious and extend to you the greatest amount of privacy they can, so this in no way ended up being a problem. I just wasn't aware and probably missed it in the advertisements. Overall, it was a gorgeous property in a perfect location, and I would absolutely recommend it to others if staying in the area.

Lovely place to stay in Wine Country

  • 5 of 5

I recently spend a long weekend (5/19 - 5/22) in Manny's rental with a couple of friends celebrating a belated 60th bday. The accommodation's were comfortable, clean and well appointed. A special treat of wine and goodies was very much appreciated. The grounds were beautiful; we all enjoyed the lovely gardens that were in bloom. The location of the property was perfect for our needs as our goal was to do some wine tastings and there were many close by to choose from; as well as a beach to view a sunset just a short walk away. Manny was available and helpful for local information if needed. Thank you for your hospitality and having your rental space as a wonderful option to stay in.

Wonderful time in Mattituck!

  • 5 of 5

My family, including my toddler and my mother, had a wonderful time at Manny and Amal's beautiful space in Mattituck! We loved the location which was quiet and also close to beaches, restaurants, wineries, and farms. Manny and Amal were gracious hosts and made us feel right at home. Their home was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. They have a beautiful garden and it was so peaceful to sit out amongst the flowers. We would definitely stay with them again and recommend it to anyone! Thanks Manny and Amal!

About The Owner

My grandfather came to Mattituck in the early 1950's to retire. As a child I have fond memories of spending summers here, fishing with my grandfather, going to the beach and playing ball with my summer friends. Each year we would reacquaint and to this day many of us are still coming out in the summer. In 2007 I retired with my wife and began the process of building this home as my year round residence.

The Owner purchased this apartment in 2008
