One of the wonderful things about our villa that distinguishes it from others is that we have over 1200 square feet of outdoor living space on patios/balconies. Most condos/villas may have a small patio but we are really blessed to have a very large and useable area. A lot of the space is covered as well which is very nice as it allows you to enjoy the beautiful views without having to be belted by the sun all day.

This house was stunning. The views from the pool were amazing. The kitchen is so pretty. The beds were extremely comfortable. The location was great, about 20 minutes from downtown. I would definitely recommend.

Beautiful Villa

Beautiful Villa. Home was lovely, well stocked with towels and kitchen essentials. The pool is beautiful with plenty of outside seating. Patio grill was nice to cook kabobs on. The views are amazing. We will be back to hike the nearby waterfall.

Incredible location and Villa

We stayed for a week, the location was ideal for anything you want to do while in the area. Owner very responsive when needed, chef and assistant did an amazing job (we ate very well), the villa was very comfortable with incredible view and a beautiful pool! Highly recommend this villa, pictures don't do it justice, we can't wait to stay when we come back next time.

Beautiful Casa!

Our family of five stayed here for about a week. The house was the best part of our trip. The deck and pool were a treat every single day. There were a couple days we never left the property because we enjoyed it so much. Local bus was a cheap way to go exploring south to the be beaches or north to the city. Highly recommend.

Really great place

Villa was perfect for us. Really nice inside with authentic Mexican style. Fresh guacamole and pico when we arrived was amazing. Pool and patio were awesome and private. Easy walk down to two different beaches but it is a little hike back up to the villa. Short bus ride to puerto Vallarta picks up right in front of complex or taxis always there also.

Absolutely Fantastic

The villa is stunning in every way. The interior has everything you could want or need and the patio/pool is amazing. We were in the pool/hot tub every day and they are immaculate. Stunning views of the ocean and the hills. Host was very helpful and offered several ideas for our stay. We would recommend to everyone and would not hesitate to book again.

Our Stay at Casa Romantica

We had a wonderful time on our trip to Puerto Vallarta. Plenty activities in the ocean and mountains/jungle. This was a one of a kind place to relax in between things to do while we were out there. A beautiful home, amazing details throughout. The pool is very cool and everything is very well maintained. The host is very kind and responsive. Thank you for an awesome trip, hope to be back.

Home away from home

This is not our first stay at Casa Romantica nor will it be our last. The staff here go above and beyond to help make your stay a great experience. This year we shared the home with our friends, and they fell in love with the house and all of its amenities. We love the outdoor patio, the spacious rooms, and above all the infinity pool. The location is the icing on the cake. We take the short bus ride into town and usually take a taxi back. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

a wonderful place to relax

After a few initial glitches, that were quickly and efficiently handled by the owner and manager, we settled in for three weeks. the villa is pretty much as described. the pool and deck are wonderful. we practically lived there. the construction noise was a problem, but i'm sure when we go back after construction is completed it will be absolutely perfect. Be sure to have the chef: Elba prepare something for you. here pollo verde and rice and guac were incredible. her red snapper veracruzana to die for! biggest problem....no place to walk. you have to uber to get anywhere. the cobblestone streets in the complex are beautiful but difficult to navigate unless you are under 35. Even given this...we'll be back soon.

Great week in PV at casa romantica

I had stayed at this property in 2012 and now again in 2023. 11 years later and it is still a fabulous villa! There has been a lot of development of resorts near by creating a bit more weekend nightlife noise but my husband and I really enjoyed the beach at Garza Blanca and sunsets from the terrace. The infinity pool provides a world class view of the mountain and forrest as well as the ocean. The complex where the villa is located is very well maintained and safe with no noise from direct neighbors. We found the grocery shopper provided by the host to be very easy to work with and allowed us to get our holiday started immediately without an hour long grocery trip.

Perfect paradise for family

Our stay could not have been more perfect! The property and complex are stunning and look just like the pictures. We wanted to stay at a property that felt authentic and wasn’t in a high rise building and this is exactly what we were looking for! The location is quiet and relaxing and just a short 10 minute cab drive away from the city. There are perfect views of both the ocean and the mountains. This property is also great for toddlers because the pool is off to the side and only has one side to access so it was easy to block off. A pack and play was provided as well which was super helpful. Karen, the host, was super friendly, responsive and informative! The staff was really great as well and take really good care of the property. We’ve been to Puerto Vallarta several times and stayed at different places and this property is definitely our favorite! Thank you Karen for providing such a wonderful place for our stay!

A Piece of Paradise

Our adult family of 5 stayed in the beautiful Casa Romantica for a wonderful 6 night visit over the Christmas holidays. We could not have been happier. This is a lovely villa with great views of the Bay and the evening sunsets. There is an up to date kitchen including a dishwasher and a large refrigerator. We appreciated the filtered water spout in the kitchen, as well. The deck is large with lounge chairs in addition to a table and chairs which we used for many meals, day and night. What is not to love about the infinity pool and hot tub. Pure relaxation. Communication with the property owner was quick and she was very responsive. Casa Romantica is a slice of heaven, and I can hardly wait to return!

Fantastic Stay and Getaway!

This home was beautifully decorated, everything we imagined when we thought “Mexico”. The pool was beautiful and fantastic, we used it every day, along with the hot tub! We ate meals out on the deck and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. The ac and beds were very comfortable for sleeping. The kitchen was large and made cooking easy and enjoyable. There is even an Alexa to play music. Our children (10 and 3) really enjoyed everything about this house too. The villas are in just a beautiful setting. Downtown was only about 20-25 minutes away and very inexpensive via Uber. The restaurant and beach 10 minutes away were an amazing way to spend the day and the other beach 5 minutes away was a great way to spend the morning. The host was beyond quick in responses with anything that came up. We will absolutely recommend this house to anyone coming to the area, and hope to come again soon!

A Spanish Villa in paradise

To start off the owner Karen ROCKS!! Everything we asked of her she made happen. The villa was beautiful. The outside veranda with the pool and hot tub was a sight to behold. The views will take your breath away. We contracted the cook for 3 evenings. She did everything in her power to make sure we got what we asked for. She was such a sweet warm lady. The only thing you must be aware of is walking from the Villa to the bottom of the property. It is cobblestone,steep and no joke. If you are older, out of shape or with a handicap it could be changeling, WE MADE IT WORK. This is a lovely property with a great staff. Thank you for making my 67 birthday a great success.

Good location and views but it needs updates and better maintenance

The owner of the property does an good job by sending a welcome letter with useful information such as transportation to and from airport. They also offer grocery shopping for a $25dll fee. Check-in is smooth. Minutes after arriving we notice the wall AC unit in the main living space was not working and a major puddle was forming. I called the local property manager immediately to report the AC not working and but no one ever answered the phone. I had to email the property owner and then things got rolling. The local property manager did call the next day only to inform me that the AC tech was going to be late. I was expecting the manager to show up to supervise. i had to supervise the job and cancel my breakfast plans downtown. The local property manager never stopped by at all to check or clean the puddle. The location of the home is distant from downtown but the neighborhood is lovely, quiet, safe with pebbled stone streets up on a cliff, and the house has a view of the mountains and a partial view of the ocean. The house needs to updated, specially the outside furniture and AC (AC are wall units) The decor is definitely Mexican style with old rattan pieces that need to be retired. The washer machine is outside on the terrace on the side of the house and it is not pretty there. The decor pieces placed in higher places around the house were dusty. The house has an infinity pool and a hot tub next to it. The water was clear and the hot tub was on which was nice; however, the pool grout had algae (you could feel it and see it) in the grout and there were tiles missing throughout. Overall, i think it is a good vacation home but it has to be updated. The last day we were not able to use the pool because there were huge crabs on the bottom. Location is good, views are good as well, mango trees right outside the house, and beautiful parakeets everywhere, house layout is also good and transportation is easy to arrange, owner is responsive but not the manager.

Amazing property!!! Stay here!

It’s beautiful and very well maintained. The owner and property manager are very sweet and responsive. Have Elba and Maria Elena cook for you if you can!! We booked last minute and are glad the resorts were full so that we could find this place. Way better than the resorts. Yes, you need to walk a bit to the beach but it’s so worth it. The walk up the hill is a workout (added benefit). This is a much more authentic experience than the resorts. Just make sure to order groceries ahead of time. You will not regret staying here.

A 10 year reunion with Casa Romantica

I first discovered this property in October of 2010 and now returned 10 years later - my experience both times was an A+. The charm and comfort that was there in 2010 has remained and if anything has been enhanced! We truly got the full experience of the place - on the way from the airport we stocked up with groceries with intention to stay in place the whole time. The pool, the patio, the kitchen, the common areas, the bedrooms and baths were fully utilized from start to finish. The charming historic neighborhood and decor of Casa Romantica embraced us from start to finish. When we weren’t cooking up delicious native dishes in the kitchen we were to be found in the pool or on the patio playing games at the outdoor table overlooking the ocean and tropical jungle. A visual treat to the eyes. The bedroom retreats were as comfortable as could be and wonderful place to start and end the day. Communication with the owner and local manager was easy and immediate - any needs or questions were fielded without delay. We did venture out little bit - the gorgeous beach below is a short walk and there are options to eat at the high end resort next door. Downtown is a short cab/Uber ride away - but it was hard to leave Casa Romantica! If you want privacy, comfort and an authentic Mexican experience this is the place for you!

It was our dream to own a villa in Puerto Vallarta. When we found Casa Romantica, we knew we had found our perfect place!! The views are incredible and the casa is so relaxing and peaceful, you never want to leave. The location is perfect....it's quiet and peaceful but it's also so close to one of the most beautiful beaches in Puerto Vallarta (Garza Blanca) and it's also very close to the best part of Puerto Vallarta - the Romantic Zone.
