Stunning Condo on a Swathe of Golden Sandy Beaches of Panama

On a swathe of golden sand and turquoise sea, this Playa Blanca, Panama vacation rental condo, is the best way to enjoy your vacation at the beach. We are located on the beach about two miles / 3.2 K past Santa Clara, and before reaching the town of Rio Hato.

Our beautifully decorated 3 bedroom condo in Playa Blanca on the 5th floor comes with a King size bed in the Master Bedroom, a King bed in the second bedroom and a Queen bed as well as one twin bed in a third bedroom. This allows at least seven adult vacationers to sleep comfortably, with room for an additional child . The three bathrooms are well fitted with showers for more convenience. Use our barbeque to pamper your taste buds on the balcony drinking margaritas as you watch the gorgeous Panama sunsets.

Vibrant and comfortable, the living room of this Playa Blanca Ocean View condo offers many entertainment options such as cable TV and CD/stereo. You can also stream you favorite channels using or fast internet service. We also provide free WIFI.

The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for cooking delicious recipes. The dining room table off the balcony overlooks the beach and the Playa Blanca Resort.
During your stay at this Playa Blanca condo, when you get on the beach you will feel relaxed in the shimmering sand and under the shade of palms and bohios. The condo also has two pools for the exclusive use of residents and guests. You can also take pleasure in Kayaking, Sailing, Four-Wheeling and Parasailing. There is the Royal Decameron Golf Course 4 kilometers away, as well as the Coronado Golf Course 30 minutes away. While enjoying life at the beach, you can also escape to the mountainous El Valle de Anton area, the largest and oldest inhabited Volcanic Crater in the world! There you can see waterfalls, exotic wild animals in a preserve, pre-historic hieroglyphics, the native market and do the canopy tour.

We are a quick two hour drive from downtown Panama City, should you like to indulge in your shopping pleasure. But then again, you don't have to go that far as there are cities within half an hour with their own malls. There are also local restaurants nearby the condo, as well as the Playa Blanca Resort complex. Our renters get preferable pricing at the resort where the meals are so very sumptuous.

Should you crave a quiet getaway, relaxing on wide open beaches, desire long walks with those you love, then come visit us.

John was great! Wish that there was air conditioning in the living areas, as while we were there between big winds and workmen spraying the building, it was a challenge to have windows open. We found out quite by accident that there were meal options nearby; a map with what is available would be appreciated. What we did find in time had great meal options. Overall, John’s place is quiet, has plenty of space, working laundry, inviting balcony with table and chairs, all within a short walk of the beach.

Some like it hot!

Multiple pools, salt water "lagoon" and of course the mostly white sand beach are all right here. Very friendly workers and responsive owner. We're normally ready to head home home after 4 or 5 days, stayed for almost a month and weren't ready to leave. Jan-Feb most days were 90+ and high humidity, the ocean breeze was great.

5 Weeks in the Sun

The condo was part of a far larger complex called Playa Blanca (Rio Hato). Easily reached by Air Transat from Toronto or Montreal direct. Playa Blanca has one of the largest man made small lakes (can't say "pool") Has a beach, trees, shade, water sports for all ages. The area has been badly hit by Covid but is coming around. A weekend getaway for Panamanians (mostly Panama City) which gave it a good vibe at Carnival time. It is extremely hot Jan - March (30-33C) which is harder for "jerries" like us, but the pretty constant winds help. Los Balcones consists of 4 buildings 7-9 stories high. Good facilities. Panamanians very friendly & helpful. Roads in Panama are not great (pot holes) (just like Toronto) but hills/mountains are beautiful. A retirement location many enjoy. Worth the visit. Host was extremely helpful.

Beautiful condo, spacious for our family of 5. Walking distance from the beach and pools. Awesome surroundings! All property info were sent ahead of time which made our check in very efficient. Very accommodating for our late arrival! Our family enjoyed it!

Even better the 2nd time around...

This was our 2nd vacation at this condo, with this turn being for 7 nights compared to the weekend turn we took previously. With the longer stay, we were able to fully maximize the opportunity to fully enjoy the benefits of the condo and surrounding location. The condo was in great condition upon our arrival - clean, with fully functioning amenities and appropriate supplies. We had a minor issue with the internet which was quickly resolved after contacting the owners (John & his wife were easy to contact and responded to the situation very quickly). The few minor issues we identified in our first stay were clearly addressed and were not an issue this time around. We highly recommend this condo for your next family vacation trip to the beach. For sure, we will be back again!!

Great family beach getaway home

With a beach course golf tournament on my calendar, we decided to turn it into an extended family getaway. This apartment turned out the be the perfect location for - it is exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Very spacious, clean, with good views of the beach and close to all activities. It was close to the golf course I was participating in, which was awesome - the on property pool was great, there is access to the Laguna Beach as well as the ocean. Restaurants are on premises if you want, full size kitchen to do your own food preparation. The only issue we identified was that the master toilet has a leak - we noticed water on the floor after a couple of flushes. A minor detail that I am sure John will address. Overall, a great option and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable beach vacation spot.

John fue muy amable y estuvimos en contacto en todo momento, la propiedad estaba en perfectas condiciones: sábanas limpias, toallas limpias, con el equipamiento esencial para cocinar y una barbacoa (parrillera) en el balcón, el cual es amplio y con hermosa vista sobre el complejo y al mar; lo esencial para pasar unos días de vacaciones, en la entrada principal del área de Playa Blanca cuenta con Supermercado y Farmacia. Uno de los atractivos de esta propiedad es que está ubicado en una urbanización que tiene playa y además una piscina de agua salada, a muy poca distancia del edificio, que uno se va caminando. Fuimos con niños y su gran deseo era bañarse en esa piscina (nuestra visita era de México - grupo de 4) pero las personas de atención al cliente, en vez de ser cordiales son las más inadecuadas para estar en ese tipo de complejo ya que de muy mala manera te hacen saber que si no estás con el propietario de la unidad te mandan a salir y te dicen que no puedes estar ahí. Mi puntuación es de 100/100 por el propietario del apartamento y su atención y respuesta a todas nuestras inquietudes, pero por la atención al cliente de parte del complejo turístico es de 0/100... es una lástima que Panamá sea un destino que puede tener muchos atractivos, pero por su PÉSIMA atención al cliente pasa a no ser deseado para repetir la experiencia. Great apartment! Get what you see!

We went there for our Easter Holidays, with 3 kids. Weather was great though too windy this time of the year, but had a great time. Beach is great, although there is not much shade/bohios, recommend taking your own sun umbrella. Other option is the excellent laguna and all the activities it offers, we really enjoyed it and will go back when possible! Thanks John for your prompt response! Good job of the conserjes as well.

Fantastic costal get away!

Our stay could not have been better. John's directions to the apartment made it easy to find our way from Panama City. From the moment we picked up the keys at the secured entrance, to checkout, the staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment was beautifully furnished, fully-equipped and had more than enough room for my wife and I, my daughter her husband and our three grandchildren. We enjoyed meals on the balcony with views of the ocean. The grounds are perfectly maintained grounds and include a nice pool and spacious lounge area. Our stay was outstanding. Five stars.

Great Location

My husband and I stayed at the condo with 3friends. We had an amazing time. Our day consisted of beach and pool time. We enjoy breakfast & dinner on the balcony. John the owner was extremely helpfull and responded to my question on a timely basis. The cook he recomended was great she became part of our family. Playa Blanca Resort ammenities was also a plus. My friends can't stop talking about the amazing week we had. I plan to stay at this location again next year.

An excellent vacation for us

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The owner was great to do business with, and promptly answered our questions via email during our stay. The free WIFI was a nice bonus. Our favourite thing was sitting out on the balcony. It was large, overlooking the pool and a view of the ocean where we ate breakfast and dinner as a family. The sunsets were spectacular. We recommend this condo for all age groups, couples and/or families. The condo buildings were fairly empty, so we had the pool to ourselves. Just a side point for families, the beach has lifeguards. We had a great meal at Beirut in the building adjacent to this property. Pick up your groceries in Penonome, it's much cheaper. We drove to El Valle from here in a rental car. Nice easy drive, and pretty area to see. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay. Quiet in August.

The directions provided were great (otherwise a lot of the entrances would have been easy to miss). Everyone on the grounds were super friendly and helpful as soon as we arrived. We even got a follow up call to make sure we had everything we needed. This was a cozy spot behind an all inclusive resort, but only a short walk to the beach. We were able to cook meals there easily, although I recommend stopping at the grocery store about 20-25 minutes outside of the resort (I believe the town was Portobello) for a better selection.The children really enjoyed the pool since the beach waves were a bit rough; however there were other activities at the resort for a fee--horseback riding, jet ski riding, etc. There was a comedy club and discoteca on the resort that you can access with a wristband--$20 for the night, but both were pretty quiet. Out of the 4 condo buildings, only 2 rooms were occupied which made the grounds very quiet since we had it all to ourselves. I would highly recommend the place to anyone. The pictures were very accurate and it was more spacious than we had anticipated.

Very nice and super easy!

So this was our first time using VRBO and we were a bit worried about how everything would work out. I must say that John made the whole process very smooth and easy. The apartment had everything you would need, we were able to cook, BBQ, etc. It had plenty of space and was very comfortable. The complex was not crowded at all which was great for us, making it quite relaxing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We have done a great job decorating this beautiful apartment in Playa Blanca. It is so relaxing to be there, to hear the ocean waves, watch the sunset and soak up the soft breezes of the beach life. I am sure you will enjoy this as much as we have.

This area is blessed with a beach several miles long, beautiful sunrises over the Pacific and gorgeous sunsets over the adjacent mountains. It is situated inside the Playa Blanca Resort complex and its additional amenities to include several full service restaurants and an entertainment show in the evenings.

Whether you want to be alone in the apartment reading a good book or walking for long stretches on the miles long beach, there is so much peace and tranquility for you here in Playa Blanca. If on the other hand you like a little action, the Playa Blanca Resort is on the property and you can join in the fun at the resort.
