Steve and I booked this place for two weeks and it was both of our birthdays and a new engagement. We so enjoy the quiet peacefulness the sound of the creek. We ventured out a few days, but mainly just enjoyed the quiet, peaceful miss of our surroundings. Thank you so much. We really had a nice time.

Secluded peaceful cabin. Hot tub and fire pit made for a relaxing stay. Be mindful of the location of the cabin. Emphasize secluded, about a 20 min drive to anything, make sure you arrive during daylight and a good idea when heading out to make sure you are back before dark. So don’t complain when there is spotty wifi or gravel road to the cabin If you want a quiet secluded cabin to relax and be in nature this is the cabin for you We had an issue and the host responded immediately and took care of it. Also a tree fell on a line and we lost power but the electric company had it repaired within an hour so don't panic they are def use this.

Glad yal had a great stay! And yes as for the issue.. Sorry we had a bear get into the trash but our cleaning crew is great at being quick to respond. We've installed the "bear box" around the trash under the porch and will be reinforcing that this fall to help eliminate that issue. And you nailed it, its always nice realizing how quick the power crews get things fixed in the area after bad weather! You'll be welcomed back anytime!

Wonderful Stay!

The cabin was the perfect retreat, clean and comfortable. Secluded and quite, we enjoyed a relaxing stay within minutes of hiking and various outdoor recreation.

This cabin was beautiful! The area was gorgeous with many hiking trails super close to cabin. We actually cancelled a planned day trip so that we could spend more time around the cabin. Sitting by the fire pit and listening to the stream just a couple feet away in the evenings was magical. The WiFi is spotty, recommend taking screen shots of Google Maps for directions when in town for any planned day trips because you may not have wifi while at the cabin. We plan on returning at another time. Also the owner was always within reach through the message mode and prompt with responses.

Mountain escape

What a perfect stay! We really enjoyed the stay! The creek running through the property kept my kids entertained for hours! We hardly had a reason to be inside because the thick canopy of trees kept the weather just perfect for being out in nature. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept on and I’m picky!

Great mountain getaway

This is a beautiful property which is easy to rent. My family really enjoyed the local creeks and streams. We went up to the lake and just enjoyed being in the mountains.

This cabin was as pictured or even better. Kitchen was stocked with necessary items to cook meals. The grill, hot tub, and fire pit were all nice. Great spot for a family to get away from city life. As stated cell service is spotty at the cabin.

Peaceful seclusion!!

We really enjoyed staying here!! It was perfect for us and our pups.. the outside fire pit was set up beautifully by the creek and the nighttime lighting was perfect! We enjoyed coffee each morning by the stream..so peaceful! Would definitely stay again!!

Property was just as described! The area is beautiful! So is the cabin. We let the kids have the loft area and it was perfect for them. We all loved our stay there. Great communication with the host too.

We have always enjoyed the Ellijay area and consider it a second home to me and my family. With that in mind, we wanted to share our piece of paradise with each of you to hopefully enjoy the mountains and wildlife in the area as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

This particular property stole our hearts from day one. On any given day driving between the cabin and town, you will encounter deer, turkey, and other amazing wildlife. At the cabin itself, you are consumed by the natural world around you and can breath in the fresh mountain air or stick your feet in the refreshing Holly Creek waters running right in front of the house. It will not take you long to understand the beauty this property has in store for anyone looking for a private mountain getaway. With waterfalls all around the area and an amazing overlook barely 5 minutes from the house there is always an adventure awaiting at the Cozy Cohutta Cabin!
