Enjoy stunning sunsets from the private, fenced-in dock in the summer or the cozy, enclosed nook that overlooks the bay in the winter. Plus, NO FEES! Kids are free. Fur-babies are free. And we pay for the cleaning!

THINGS TO KNOW:
• The property is located on a quiet road that runs between the dock and the house.
• Cell service is limited.
• The closest restaurant/store is 15-20 minutes away with main attractions up to 40-45 minutes away.
• Services like Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash do not service the property.
• There are stairs outside of the house, in the house, and on the dock.
• A storage shed is on-site. Guest does not have access to this shed.
• Entry is provided by smart locks with codes. Check-in instructions that include the address and access code will be sent in a message around 10am EST the day before arrival, pending a signed rental agreement and security deposit on file.
• There are 2 cameras on the property. One camera is located outside each of the two entrances. These cameras provide 24/7 video and audio monitoring and recording. There are no cameras inside the cottage.
• This listing is fully API-integrated with a channel manager. That means items such as the payment, deposit, agreement, and copy of ID will be collected and processed through the channel manager's software and not through VRBO. This is standard for all API-integrated listings per VRBO's policy. All payments will be processed through a secure payment processor.

• Bedrooms: 1 queen downstairs, 1 queen upstairs, and 1 king upstairs with access to the enclosed balcony/nook. Each has a bed with pillows and linens. Each has a TV.
• Bathrooms: Each bathroom is a full bathroom with a shower. No bath tubs.
• Living Room: This is connected to the kitchen with a couch and futon. There is 1 TV.
• Kitchen: Updated cabinetry with basic supplies and appliances. There is a kitchen table with 6 chairs.
• TVs: There is a TV is the living room and each bedroom. Each TV has a Roku for accessing your own streaming services. Streaming accounts, cable TV, and live TV are not provided.
• Appliances: Full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and stove, coffee pot, toaster, washer/dryer, propane grill.
• Yard: Both the yard around the cottage and the yard around the dock are completely fenced-in.
• Dock: USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. There are steep stairs that go down to the water. There really isn't a beach but the water is shallow for shore-type enjoyment. Dock is fenced-in. There are some life jackets on-site. Fishing from the dock is allowed. There is a table with benches in the dock area.
• Beach Access: There is a "Corner Beach" down the street that guests are allowed to use. See last photo for reference. Guests will need to walk there as no street parking is allowed, but it is not very far from the cottage. It is a private beach and is not open to the public, but people are allowed to use that beach if they are a guest at The Bantry Baydream. Beach towels are the only "Beach Essentials" provided.
• Parking: Please park on the property, in the grass next to the cottage. 3 car limit.
• Pets: Pets are welcome! Guest is required to pick up after their pet. 6 pet limit (additional requests considered).
• Kids: Kids are welcome! Be advised that child safety precautions are NOT in place. All beds are adult beds.
• ID and Rental Agreement: Guest is required to provide a copy of their government-issued ID and sign a rental agreement prior to arrival.
• Deposit: A $500 deposit is required and will be fully refunded after checkout pending no damages.
HOUSE RULES:
• Number of Occupants: Due to Northampton County regulations, the maximum number of overnight occupants is 6 (including infants and children). ABSOLUTELY NO parties or events.
• Pets: Up to 6 pets are allowed for free. Any messes or excrement from pets must be cleaned up, inside and outside. Additionally, Northampton County requires all dogs to remain under their owner's immediate control and not run at large.
• Parking: Only 3 cars are allowed on the property. Cars may park in the grass on the southside of the cottage only. Do NOT park in the grass in front of the cottage, between the cottage and fence. Street parking is NOT allowed.
• Septic/Drains: The cottage is on a septic tank. Please only flush toilet paper. Do NOT flush wipes (even flushable ones), tissues, paper towels, tampons/pads, Q-Tips, cotton balls, contraceptives, etc. Please do not put any grease, oil, or scraps down the kitchen drain as there is no garbage disposal.
• Trash: There is no trash service to the property. Please bag all trash and dispose of it in the large, outdoor trash bin on the back deck. If there is more trash than what can be contained in the bin, please dispose of the excess trash at the local dump.
• Smoking: Smoking of any kind (tobacco, marijuana, vaping, etc) is strictly prohibited inside the cottage. Please only smoke outside and properly dispose of any waste.
• Outdoor Fires/Grill: The only outdoor fire that is permitted must be contained within a grill. No firepits nor bon fires are allowed. Fires must be fully extinguished when left unattended. All propane gas must be turned off completely when not in use. Do NOT use the grill inside or within 10 feet of any structure. Some propane is provided for the grill, but if it runs out, please refill it before departure.
• Check-Out: Check-out is any time before 10:00am. Late check-out must have prior approval. Keep in mind that the next guest may be arriving the day of check-out and the cleaning crew needs enough time to prepare the cottage for the next guest.
• Cleaning/Departure: Guests are expected to pick up after themselves and not leave behind any excessive messes. Prior to departure/check-out, the responsible party will complete the items on the Check-Out List.
• Linens: Please do not take any of the white linens or towels outside. There are beach towels available for use outside. Do not remove any linens from the property.
• Consumables: Some consumable amenities are provided as a start, but enough for the duration of the stay is not guaranteed. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, aluminum foil, cooking oil, spices, etc. Please let us know if you use the last of anything so we can replenish it for the next guest.
• Access: Pending a signed rental agreement on file and the security deposit on hold, the door lock codes will be provided via email/message around 10am EST the day before arrival.
