Cozy "Schwedenhaus" with a beautiful view, located on the water

Welcome to the "kolkje" nature holiday farm!

A holiday with us means: Experience nature with all your senses - far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but right in the middle of one of the most diverse natural and cultural regions in the Netherlands!
Rest and relaxation on your own dock ... Hiking, biking, fishing, paddling, swimming, surfing or simply drifting by boat ... Day tours to the pearls of the Frisian Eleven Cities Route and the Wadden Islands ... enjoy a coffee or enjoy the beach life in the nearby Makkum .. .

Our "garden house" is a completely overhauled wooden house (chalet) with Scandinavian flair at the beginning of 2017: colors, furnishings, the compact layout as well as a beautiful view of the terrace, garden and the wide landscape provide a cozy atmosphere and guarantee you a relaxing vacation.

The garden house houses a kitchen on the ground floor with a kitchenette, dining table for 6 people and a cozy seating area for watching TV and with a view and access to the terrace and garden. The hallway with cloakroom leads to the bathroom (shower, toilet and sink) and two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds, one of which can be pulled out for another sleeping space.

On the private terrace you can sit, grill or read in a deck chair, fish, swim or go out on the water on the other side of the courtyard: the use of a fishing boat with an outboard motor and two kayaks is included in the price.
For canoe tours with several people, we recommend canoe rentals in the village and for bike tours, bike rentals in Makkum.

In the farmhouse there is also a freely accessible kitchen where our guests can use the washing machine, dryer and vacuum cleaner. We also have a small guest farm shop with products from our own production as well as regional and ecological origin.

Animal lovers can look forward to our sheep and lambs, chickens and wild ducks, swallows and huge flocks of wild geese that fly across the farm in spring and autumn.
